I learned more about New York in 3 hours than i have the previous 3 years i've lived in the city. Great food, great tour, great neighborhood stories that really bring the Village to life. It's like having a close friend for half a day walk you around the city, tell you where to eat and hang out, and shed light on things most folks don't know about. I recommend it to anyone and i hope to attend the other tours as well!! Great job.

Our tour leader was very interesting. Our friends visiting from England thought it was wonderful. My wife and I would like to do another of these tours.

Highlight of our NYC Trip!

This was the best part of our NYC trip! We've been to NYC a few times before and now we regret not doing this tour earlier. It's a great way to get to know the neighborhood and to try the different variety of foods it has to offer. After the tour, we returned to the Village a few more times to do more exploring and to try the other food establishments recommended in the tour. We will definitely go on one of the other Foods of NY tour on our next trip to NY.

Good, but long

The tour is a fun, indepth look at the neighborhood. The story-telling and historical perspectives are the highlight (and of course the wonderful food). It seemed as though the program 'stretched' the tour to 3 hours. It probably could have been done just as well in only 2 hours. Maybe customers feel they get a better value if it is 3 hours.

Interesting combination of food and local history. A knowledgable guide but unfortunately she couldn't do anything about the weather. Highly recommend the tour and the Rice Balls !.

What a great time. Our guide, Kurt, did a fantastic job and even made a special effort to learn everyone's name. Kurt wanted all of us to understand why he loves "The Village". By the end of the tour, we all loved "The Village" and all the wonderful foods hidden inside. I am looking forward to returning with kids and taking this tour again. Mike Anniston, AL

Good Eats and History in Greenwich
Sat, Dec 9, 06   12:00 PM nancystefano Male 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Unspecified
Our tour guide, Barri, was great. She showed she knows her food, the history of Greenwich ,and her job. All the samples were great. They were so great that my wife and I went back on our own on Monday. Unforunately we did not hit all the places we wanted to; but, we went to Rocco's and ate a great meal at a Italian Restruant down the street from Joe's. We also went back to the spice shop Barri took us to, and will be doing business by mail. The same Murray's and the Mediterranean Specialities. We will soon have some Basil Olive Oil being deliveried to our home. Bottom line it was a great tour, even better food, and a great guide. We will make sure weagain take the tour on next year's New York trip. George and Nancy Stefano
