| Heading to San Diego next month and looking for a tour similar to this one to learn about the city. Great fun and food--even in the rain! |

| We had four days in NYC and this tour had been recommended to us. MAKE SURE YOU DO IT even if it means you miss some of the other more traditional sightseeing. Walking around Greenwich Village will give you a sense of the real New York and the restaurants that real New Yorkers rate.
We tasted some fantastic food, met some of the chefs and laughed all the way round with our tour guide who had a great sense of humour. Our tour guide was Sephra (a trained pastry chef) so was more food focused that history and acrhitecture but that suited us fine! |

Take the tour only if you enjoy food tasting

| Overall, I had a good time on the Greenwich Village Food Tasting and Cultural Tour and the tour guide was very comical. I really enjoyed tasting the various foods on the tour (some food tasting stops were better than others though) and the tour did a great job of accomodating a vegetarian diet. If you enjoy food tasting and plan on revisiting the Greenwich Village area during your trip, then this is a really good tour to take because the tour guide gives you restaurant recommendations.
However, if you are taking the tour to learn about the culture/history of Greenwich Village, then I would recommend taking another tour because I didn't learn very much about the area. Although this is a 3 hour tour, a lot of the time is spent waiting for the tour guide to go into the restaurant and bring out the food to the group. Also, I was hoping to explore more of the Greenwich Village area, but you basically stay on the same street during the tour.
I think this tour is overpriced for what it is. |

| Cindy did a great job. Soliciting group for gratuitie however is tacky and should not be encouraged. |

| Marie was GREAT!!! - She obviously enjoys her role as 'Guide' and is very good at it.
I was pleasantly surprised that the food portions ere as large as they were. I will send everyone I know that is visiting Manhattan!!! |

Even locals loved it!

| I learned a bit about Greenwich Village and I enjoyed the food tastings. It is different from other tours in that you get to taste food as you go along , so it isn't as "stuffy" as some tours. I recommend it highly. |

| I've lived in the New York area my whole life and presently live on Long Island. When my wife suggested this tour, I figured, sure why not. I didn't really expect much, but the tour/food tasting was way better than I expected. The tour guide, Kurt Upton was sensational, he gave us all kinds of historical background of the area and the food places we visited. The tasting were exceptional and my wife and I are already planning which restaurants we want to go back to, and which food shops we want to re-visit. I recommend this tour to visitors to our city as well as long time residents. |
