We hadn't been to Greenwich Village since sneaking down there on a trip during high school. We decided to take the food tour and see it again. We had a great time. Michael, our guide, involved everyone in the group. He had a unique and off beat affection for his neighborhood. He gave us the inside scoop on architecture, history and food of the area. It was cold, but he kept us moving and laughing along the way! It was great fun! I would recommend this tour to anyone who wanted to see more than 42nd and Broadway!

Our tour guide was lively and very knowledgeable about Greenwich Village and the history of NYC. Cindy stayed on time and was very aware of the weather and how best to keep us in a warm sunny spot whenever she could. The food was great. Our favorite part of the tour was the visit to Chumleys!

We had a great time on this tour. Not only was the food tasting wonderful, but the guide was such an interesting guy. We were fascinated by the history of Greenwich Village and definitely plan to go back there in the near future. I would fully recommend this tour, but make sure you're wearing comfortable shoes, as it's at least 3 hours of walking. :o)

The featured venues were well chosen and the food samples were generous and delicious. Even though it was a food tour, we learned a fair amount about the geography and history of Greenwich Village. I have a few good ideas now for a fun night out in this area.

This is my first tour of this kind and we didn't know what to expect. It was wonderful. The guide was great, so bubbly and energetic. She showed us places I would have never thought to go, these little mom and pop places that have been in the area for years. I would definitely do a another one, and I would definitely go back on my own to these sites!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Food Tour of Greenwich Village. Our guide, Mike(?) was extremely informative, very entertaining and generous with his time. The foods were all good, and the social history of the area was really enlightening. We would recommend this tour to anyone we know who visits New York. We found the Speakeasy particularly interesting!

The tour was given by a local who has lived in Greenwhich for 40 years. Walking the streets with him we not only recieved much history and insight into how the Villiage has become what it is today, but along the way passed locals known to our tour guide who stopped for a chat and also provided us with insights into their experiences. I've lived in Manhatten for a year and visit the Villiage regularly, however I now know a number of great places to go for fine dinning, drinking or shopping for delicacies rarely found elsewhere.

I am a Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management student at Southwest Minnesota State University through a joint program with the University of Minnesota- Crookston. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who would like to go. I went into this tour thinking that I hope it's worth the $40 I spent on it, but it went above and beyond my expectations. It was so interesting trying all the different foods, and learning about all the history in the area. This was definitely my favorite part of my trip to New York, and it's a must see event so be sure not to miss it!
