| Visited NYC for a broadway show on Friday and took this tour on Sat. It was one of the highlights of my weekend. Loved our guide, food samples and group. Will definately go back to some of the restaurants I saw on the tour. The landscape/historical part of the tour (in my opinion) was enchanting. It didn't even seem as though I was in NYC at times. |

| This was a great tour with a wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable guide. We learnt lots about the history of the individual shops and neighbourhoods from her - both socially, culturally and from a historical standpoint. Lots of tidbits of information you would never know just walking around. She seemed to know all the shops we went to personally and the owners by name. The architecture all around was also good. We had plenty to eat - about seven very reasonable tastings and they were all really delicious. We definitely did not need lunch afterwards. This tour would be interesting to people of all ages who want to experience the true "ambience" of Greenwich Village. In fact, the age range was from 20's to 60's in our particular group and everyone seemed to appreciate the tour. As Canadians who were originally from England, we loved it.
It was a fabulous introduction to the "Villiage" and we want to go back there next time we come to New York and explore the neighbourhood more. We would recommend this tour highly to anyone wanting to have an interesting walking tour that also gets the taste buds going. We want to go on another tour or two with this same company next time we are in New York.
Very well organized and fantastic value considering the food we eat as well. The tour did n't in fact finish for 3.5 hours so the guide did not rush us around and we had an extra half an hour. You also get a very helpful handout of where you have been and what you have seen so you can explore again by yourself if you wish. In fact we did go back next day and had dinner at the "local" Italian Restaurant that was recommended and it was very good and extremely reasonably priced, considering we also had a bottle of nice wine.
Well done everyone and Barrie too - hope we got your name spelled right! |

| The variety and quality of food was generally great. Only disappointment was the final tasting of the kebab. There is much better food around than that eg. ice cream. cheesecake. Good combination of history, architecture, and even local knowledge of TV sets and who has lived in the area, with food and more food. Husband and I both found it thoroughly enjoyable with that one reserve. |

Would do it again.

| Our tour guide, Curt, was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and made you feel comfortable from the start. His quick wit, combined with his enthusiasm and knowledge was a perfect combination and guaranteed a positive day. Want to do it again, maybe in the Soho district and would want to request the same guide. |

| I'd like to personally thank you for having such a great tour of the Greenwich Village. I love to sample new foods and the food tasting was my favorite part! I will definitely be going on another tour that your company provides!

| I was in New York with 8 girlfriends. We took the 3 hour walking/eating tour of Greenwich Village and had a great time! The food was wonderful and our tour guide Barri was a very good historical guide to the West Greenwich Village area. I learned things I wouldn't have learned anywhere else and found some fabulous eateries with websites! If you're interested in seeing some back street New York sites and love to eat, this is the tour for you! |

| This was a good tour, but we learned more about the history of the district than we did tasting food. I would have preferred to go to more food establishments that were willing to give samples. I enjoyed the tour, nevertheless, and would recommend it. |

| I get to visit NYC often as my daughter works in the city and have seen just about every "tourist attraction" available; however, this tour was one of the best! I was so surprised how much we learned about the history and culture of Greenwich Village. Our guide, Michael, was wonderful! He was so knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. Oh...and the food was great too!! We got to sample 2 different types of pizza, cheese & bread, rice balls (something I never would have chosen from a menu, but were delicious), chocolate chip cookie, and another type of pastry. My favorite stop was Chumley's (a place you would never find on your own) and learning the history of the bar/restaurant in it's prohibition days. I've already "hinted" to my daughter that this place has to be on the itinerary for my next visit!! Just a word of caution - be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. You will be on your feet for almost the entire 3 hours (more standing than walking). We did get to sit down at Murray's Cheese Shop while we sampled the cheeses, bread from Amy's Bakery, and olives. You can't go wrong with this tour; I've already suggested it to a few friends and co-workers. If you get Michael as a guide, you will not be disappointed. I'm excited to also try the Chelsea District/Meat Packing Tour. |

| The food is great, tried some new things we had never eaten before. Very educational, the history of the area is very colorful and interesting. Because of our experience on this tour, we plan on returning to this neighborhood and these food establishments upon our next visit, and feel very comfortable going at it on our own. We had such a great time on this tour and we are now "Olive Oil Snobs" (those of you who have been on this tour understand what we mean). We are also planning on doing the Chelsea area food tour next year when we return.
Our guide Curtis was the best...he is knowledgeable, very personable and way too funny...Thanks Curtis you really made our tour memorable and our favorite activity on this visit to the city!
