Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Enjoyed history paired with good tasting. Perfect. Combination! Even rain didn't dampen the experience!

Before our visit to NYC, a friend told us that she had gone on a walking food tour and recommended we look into it. What a great idea! We went with two other friends and had a blast. It was so much fun hearing the history of the area and going into the different local resturants and shops and having a sample of their specialty. We went mid day and it was perfect for lunch. Plenty of food. We had a great time and had so much fun doing it with our friends. I recommend this activity highly.

This is the 3rd food tour that I've done with this company. The first two - NoLitaNOHO and Central Village/SOHO were excellent; that's why I decided to try a third one. Unfortunately, the Greenwich Village tour was a big disappointment. The tour guide prattled on and on about nothing, and most of the time we couldn't hear her because she would stand in the middle of our group with her back to half of us. The tour ran way over the scheduled 3 hours and a couple of people had to leave the tour before it was over to get to other activities. As for the food: some good (Joe's Pizza, mac & cheese at Home Restaurant), some mediocre (Rafele's, Murray's cheese: I've had some great cheeses at Murray's, but felt that the 3 selections we were given were pretty blah). I still highly recommend the other tours; just stay away from this one.

We all enjoyed our tour of the West Village. The food was delicious and our guide was extremely good. Funny and informative, he regaled us with interesting facts about life in the area, both historical and current. Even though the weather was wet, it didn't dampen our enjoyment of the tour. Highly recommended.

The food was incredible, bet I've had since I've been ere and the toe guide was super fun. I'd definitely recommend it as it was te favorite pasty of my whole New York trip. Obviously I love food

The food was great and the tour guide provided a lot of information on the area. It was a great way to learn about Greenwich Village and New York City.

We really enjoyed taking this food tour. It was our first experience with a food tour and we certainly picked a winner. Our tour guide Ted was engaging,very informed on the local history and a joy to spend the day with. The food was outstanding--- only had pizza and Italian food once before like this and that was in Italy! The walking was not overwhelming, certainly doable for most people. We will be doing this again!

This tour was awesome!!! The food was excellent and plentiful, and the tour guide was fabulous!!! Definitely exceeded my expectations!!!

This tour was excellent. Fantastic tour guide, delicious food and a great overall experience in lovely Greenwich Village. Our group of seven all agreed that this was one of the best things we did in NYC, next time we will try to do another of their Food Tours of NY!
