Great way to learn about local food, culture, and history of the Greenwich village area. The variety of food we tasted was mostly carb based products ie risotto, pizza, bread. We did leave full and when we left we knew where in the area we wanted to come back to for dinner. The tourguide while knowledgable and friendly enough lacked in personality. Tour would have been better if the tour guide had some energy, enthusiasm, wittiness etc.

We had Karrieann as our guide.It was raining that day and she was very postive and upbeat even though the weather was bad. my friends and I had to leave the tour early because of a show we had to get to.Karrieann went out of her way to accomadate us and get us food before we left.She was very knowagble and very intersting.I would do the tour agian the next time I am in New York.

This was a very enjoyable tour, even though we accomplished it in pouring rain. The guide was informative, entertaining and well-versed in both the history of the historic area we toured and the eclectic group of restaurants we visited and tasted (pizza, cheeses, olives, sweets). Highly recommended for all Italians, the canoli were to die for!!

Our guide (Sefra?) was fantastic. She provided in depth culinary information as well as intersting historical and architectural info. She was animated and entertaining. Food was very good. I would recommend this to others. Despite the fact that i've been to NY many times i found the tour informative, interesting and well run. Very pleased we decided to do it.

We had a wonderful group leader whose sarcasm kept us laughing the entire 3 hours. Loved learning about all the history of the establishments as well as the food itself. Would recommend to anyone...fun for all ages!

Went on this tour with two other couples,(recommended by a co worker). We had the best time, a lot of laughs,great food and an awesome tour guide Sefra ( hope the spelling is correct). I went to work today and told everyone how great this was. I will try the other tours soon.

This was a lovely way to experience Greenwich Village. The tour was especially unique because it provided the history and the actual food experience. We went back to the Village the next day to experience a restaurant that didn't have a tasting on the tour but, the guide said so many good (and interesting ) things that we had to check it out for ourselves. We weren't disappointed in that either. Our only suggestion for change to the tour is to change the pizza offering. It really isn't that great and it would be fun to have a tasting from the pizzaria where people were standing in line out the door. Thank you for organizing such a great opportunity.
