Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

food tour was really historical tour with food sampling at 5 restaurants in neighborhood. this was not enough for lunch for my group. the restaurant we ate at where we actually sat down and were served was at the vegan/asian venue. this was not what we understood we would be doing. our tour guide heather, however, was very friendly and enthusiastic. she was very knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy her job. this should be advertised as a cultural tour that lets you have a taste as you go by. will not be signing up again or recommending.

First, the guide was extremely enthusiastic and well informed on everything from the shops to the architecture of West Greenwich Village. The whole three hours were great. The only recommendation that I would have is to maybe avoid the dead of winter for the tour - three hours in the cold can be long at times. Highly recommend for visitors and residents.

It was an excellent tour and I will do it again when I return! The guide was very knowledgable and it was interesting and the food was fantastic.

Fantastic food and an enthusiastic guide made this culinery tour of Greenwich Village the highlight of our trip to NYC! We went back to some of the featured stores and bought treats for our weekend stay...if we had the time, we would like to have eaten at all the restaurants that we visited. The rice balls at Faicco's are to die for! So many great places, so little time....

My daughter and I were introducing my granddaughter to NYC for the first time - she's 10 years old. My daughter and I had been on this tour 5 years ago and wanted to do it again. We weren't sure if the 10 year old would love it like we did, but she did. It was different from our tour 5 years ago - but equally as outstanding with one exception. We LOVED Chumley's last time - we were disappointed to find out what had happened (of course, not the fault of the tour company.) Marie was our tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Since my granddaughter was the only child on the tour, she made it special for her too. WE LOVED IT and will do it again when we return to the city.

Our guide was very personable, informed and helpful. We would recommend to all who are able to spend most of three hours on their feet!

The tour was great, we sampled a large variety of food which was all wonderful. We went to many places which we simply would not have gone to if we were not on the tour. My wife was pregnant and the tour guide, Sephra (who was 7 months pregnant) was extremely understanding and helpful with this. Sephra was awesome, she was hilarious, knowledgeable, and kind. Sephra was the best ever tour guide!

Loved all but one stop (vegetarian Asian). Grateful that my gluten-free issues were addressed. Very knowledgable guide although I've had better. Great value!
