Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Can't say a negative thing about this tour. The guide was wonderful, kept us laughing as well as informed about the area we were touring. He even remembered everyone's name. Can't say enough about him. The food was varied and delicious. We were all stuffed and could barely eat any more. Many of the places I hope to go back to on my own both for dining and for shopping. The Olive Oils, the pizza, the mac and cheese, the desserts, and more ,combined with a history of the area, and a very witty tour and food guide made for a joyous day. Even the weather was cooperating. This was not my first tour with this company and it won't be my last

Would definitely do another ne and recommend to friends

This was a highlight of our trip. The food was excellent, the guide was friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning a little about a part of New York that we had never been. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

The guide had a great sense of humor and was very informative. Nice selection of food.

I hope it says something that this is the first online review I've ever felt compelled to write. My mother and I just did the Greenwich Food Tour in June 2012. Our guide was Sephra, a native New Yorker who grew up in the Village and seemed to know 80% of the people on the street! She was so funny and entertaining that the entire group was always laughing. There were a few kids on the tour and she was hilarious with them as well. She was awfully knowledgeable about food (former culinary school graduate) and the neighbourhood, but it was her off-the-cuff humour and 'asides' that really made this tour the highlight of our visit to NYC. I highly recommend doing this tour (with Sephra--M, T, TH, F @ 11 am).

Our guide, Kerrianne, was awesome. She was very knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. The food was very good, the pace of the tour was well planned, all in all a wonderful experience. Can't wait for our next tour.

This tour was fabulous! Marie was our tour guide and was exceptional. She shared a great many historical facts with us. Her enthusiasm for the area was exemplary. I HIGHLY recommend Marie and this tour. The food was outstanding, also!

Great combination of super yummy food combined with an architectural lesson and history on the area. The tour left me filled to the brim, with a great combo of sweet and savory. I definitely went back to the places recommended, and it was great to have places recommended for dinner, where you knew the food would be great, instead of only so-so. I would definitely recommend this tour as a must do when in NY. Totally craving a canolli now : )

The guide was very good telling us about the neighborhood & we enjoyed the walk around the Village

Two recently retired teachers (a coworker and me), a current teacher, and my daughter went on the tour of Greenwich Village. Our tour guide was very personable and you could tell she thoroughly enjoys her job. The businesses we visited were so interactive with us. The food was delicious and the servings were just the right amount. We were very sated when we finished. My daughter and I had taken the Chelsea Market tour a couple of years ago and were very pleased. We will be looking at the other tours that you offer and participate in them at a later date. Thanks for a wonderful dining and historical tour.
