Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

We had a wonderful time! Bert was a delight - knowledgeable, entertaining, and outgoing. He took excellent care of us. The food was superb; we will definitely be back to several of the vendors in the future. We look forward to taking other tours with the company.

I can highly recommend the Greenwich food tasting tour. 3 hours jam packed with memories. I really got a sense of the Village and how interesting this pocket of New York is. I am glad I did it.

Bert was wondeful and gave great information about the area and really educated us about food, resturants and the history of the area. The food samples were awesome and we had many more samples than I had anticipated. All the people in our group were so nice as were all the workers in all the places that we visited. I would encourage people to take this tour.

My sister, daughter (age 22), niece (age 21) and I all loved this tour. The food was excellent and filling and Marie, our tour guide was awesome. Besides tasting (and filling up) on the food, Marie provided a lot of information about the architecture and history of Greenwich Village. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. In fact, when we return next year we are planning on taking another tour with this company! Keep up the good work.

All four family members, including two teenagers, had a terrific time sampling food and learning about the history of the neighborhoods. It was great weather for the first two hours, however even when it rained off-and-on for the the final hour, it was okay. If the weather calls for a chance of rain, just remember to bring a rain jacket and/or umbrella. Our tour guide, Carrie Ann, was terrific. She was well organized, knowledgable and great about letting everyone know when bathrooms and beverages would be available. A good time was had by all and we'd all highly recommend the tour. We're looking forward to trying another tour on our next trip.

I have been on a food tour in Chicago and in the Chelsea district in NY. The Greenwich Village tour was equally as great as the others I've been on. Our guide, Bert James, was very knowledgeable as well as entertaining. The previewed establishments were second to none and the food selections were soooooo good. I will highly recommend this tour to anyone that is going to NYC. I was sort of a tour guide on this trip for my 13 and 15 year old nieces, their mom, and my mother, so I was glad that this was one of the highlights of the trip. They thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Can't wait to return. I would do this tour again for sure!

Guide was prompt. She was enthusiastic about the tour and made it fun. I would totally recommend this to anyone that would like to see a different side of Manhattan besides Time Square.

The tour was a great way to give out of staters a glimpse of Greenwich Village and teach locals and tourists about the neighborhood, its history, and its flavors with tasty tidbits along the way. Delicious qualiy food and tips on where to eat later. We loved it!

Great tour guide -- gave insight as to what it's like to be a New Yorker living in the village. Food portions were tasty and larger than expected. Loved hearing the cultural aspects and meandering the streets. Actually went back that evening with my husband and practically relived the tour. Highly Recommend it!
