This is the second time I have done this tour and I thoroughly enjoyed both times. Both tours were with friends who appreciate good food and were interested in a taste of Greenwich Village. Our guide was very funny and entertained the group with stories while still enlightening us with details about the food and some history of the area. It's a great way to get restaurant recommendations. We returned to Palma the next night and had a fabulous meal in the garden, plus we purchased items at several of the shops we visited on the tour. |

First, Serephena (spelling?) Is abosolutely fantastic!! I have been on several of these tours and I will say I have yet to be disappointed by any of the tour guides, but hands down, she was the best! She might have been my favorite thing about the tour! She was so personable, funny and knowledgeable. The tour was fun, full of interesting facts, historical and fun. The food was fun and tasty. I feel it's worth the money. I have recommended this tour to several people and have taken several people on this tour. I will continue to recommend this tour and I look forward to the next time!
ps... Serephena deseves a big raise, bonus or both!!! |

We had been to NYC many times but had never experienced the Village. Heather, our tour guide, was so informative about the Village and we were surprised by the difference of the Times Square area and how quaint the Village was. Also, the food was very good and we hope to try some of the other food tours of NYC that are offered by your company. |

We loved the Greenwich Village food tour. We arrived about 10 minutes late, but our guide was more than accomodating. All the places we tried were heavenly! We even got to try TWO pizza places that were so different from one another. In NY, the more pizza you try the better! Learning the history about the neighborhood and restaurants were astounding. It was also fun to look at the architecture and look at places for sale. Our guide would inform us about how much they would cost. Everything was so interesting! We even had a local in our group, who loved the tour and learned a lot as well. I think that speaks volumes. Afterwards we did not even need lunch. We did grab gelato after at a place that had a BOGO offer in our booklets! Thanks for that deal too!
When back in NY I will definitely be on another one of these tours, exploring a different part of the city. Thanks! |

Our guide was Marie ... very knowledgeable, and very enrthusistic. She moved at an appropriate pace. It was nice to get away fom the skyscrapers and visit a neighbourhood., and relive its history. The variety of tastings ...very enjoyable!!!. It was a wonderful afternoon!... good guide, good food |

Great tour -- history along with good food -- Barrie our guide was SO knowledgeable with a wonderful personality, and kept us all moving along and on schedule. Our group got so much more than we expected from this tour, even though one of our "foodie" friends from home (Louisiana) recommended it highly. As Barrie told us, we now probably know more about Greenwich Village than many of the people living there. If you have the time, this one is not to be missed. |

I enjoyed it very much. I did not expect that much food. It was more than enough for lunch. I especially enjoyed the historic streets of the tour. It was places I would not have found on my own. And the tour guide was just great. I would recommend this tour to anyone. |

The explanations about the area were interesting enough, and the village is gorgeous.
However the tour did not meet my expectations. It felt too much like a marketing presentation
(a LOT of detail about certain restaurants and none about others along the way which looked just as good and had just as many credentials in their window display).
Plus, although it specifies that 'most people do not need to eat lunch after the tour' I did. And I'm a 120lb young woman.
Overall, I do not regret taking the tour, however more because of the sightseeing and explanations, less about the food.... |

Our tour guide was fun as well as informative carefully detailing each activity in the Village. The food was a great mixture and well prepared for even the difficult to please taste, Can't wait to return to NYC and try another tour. |
