This was a great tour. Food was very good (almost too much)!!! Raheem, the guide was excellent providing a great deal of information about the history and the architecture of the area. The people in the various shops and food places we visited were very friendly and helpful. The printed guide was very helpful for deciding restaurants and shops to return to. The coupons were an added plus. I will certainly do one of the other food tours when I am back in NYC. |

My husband and I and two dear friends of ours enjoyed a wonderful time on the Greenwich Village tour. Our tour guide, Raheem, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and engaging. He selected just the right number of destinations. The choices were varied and the food was delicious. He generated a spirit of adventure throughout the tour and that spirit was contagious. All in all, we had a wonderful time.
We look forward to taking another tour in the future. |

Really enjoyed the entire tour. Guide (Bert) was great. Stops were all good. Local history was informative and fun. Only hint for people is be prepared to eat a lot of cheese and dairy products - not a problem for me but could see it being an issue for some |

Heather was such a wonderful tour guide. We enjoyed most of the places we went to on this tour. The only place we did not like was Centro. The atmosphere was nice but the food too exotic, but that is what made it interesting. Just a simple dish would have been more appetizing. Even went back to the Olive Oil Company for the olive oil with basil. I think all of our tour went back to that place to buy some. We did the Chelsea Meat Market tour also and soon we are going to try Little Italy. It is a great way to eat things you would never eat on your own (well we did have the best pizza ever from Joe's and a cannolli from the bakery) and see places that you would not have found on your own either. I would recommend this tour. |

Everyone in our family enjoyed the food and facts of the tour. We all love trying unusual types of food and this tour really fit the bill. The tastings contained such a wide variety of foods it was wonderful. It was also nice to be able to go inside at frequent intervals to warm up from the winter weather. Our guide, Heather was very upbeat and fun and full of all sorts of knowledge and trivia. A perfect day. |

While you could experience all of these foods on your own with a simple googling of what's best in the village, you would not truly understand what you were eating or why it was so good. (Ie, how it was made). For my mother and I, (ages 72 and 44), the real winner was the tour through the historical district and all of the details of immigration and architecture. There was fun stuff: (hey! It's the building from 'Friends'"), and there was also true history come to life.
My daughter, (12), was all about the food. Hands down favorite spot in bad weather will always be the wine bar , with its 20 minutes of relaxation of good food and drink. Bartender here even mixed up a non-alcoholic cocktail for my daughter. It may start off a little slow, but hang on because it gets interesting starting on Cornelia street. Its building to a big finish, just be patient. We were questioning the three plus hours for the first 30 minutes, but then it really whiz zed right by. You will see other tours tasting food with 30 plus people!!! This one sells out at 12 so you get a really intimate experience. |

I loved this tour! It is a great way to see the West Village and try some great local food along the way! By the end of the tour we were very full but wanted to keep eating because the food was so great! Definitely get what you pay for and then some! Our tour guide Marie had lived in the neighborhood before and was very knowledge with fun facts about the area. I would definitely recommend this tour! |
