Interesting guide, good food - inspiring!

The tour was fantastic. A lot of interesting information from our very sweet tour guide Carrie-Ann.

We had a fantastic tour leader Amy who lived in the Greenwich Village neighbourhood and it was obvious that she genuinely loved the area. We really enjoyed the interesting historical information provided on the tour as well. The food was fantastic. The only food that I didn't think was amazing on the tour was the 'lunch stop' where we had mushroom risotto, it was average. The lunch disappointment may be because all the other tastings were 'stand-outs' and places we will return to.

Our guide was very knowledgable and friendly. Food was wonderful. History on Greenwich Village was very interesting. A well rounded, fun, interesting and delicious tour!

The guide - Kurt - brilliant - knew all the people around and we spent time talking to these local characters of Greenwich Village along the way. Food excellent - plenty enough for Lunch. The cheese ravioli was especially delicious! Would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking to both explore Greenwich Village and have a great afternoon out.

Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this tour - our guide (Kurt) was a real character who had the entire group (a variety of ages/nationalities) in constant laughter. I felt the amount of food given exceeded our expectations and the personal introductions/explanations of the different food establishments left us returning to each one almost every day for our evening meal! Would highly recommend this tour!

Wow what a great tour. Our tourguide gave us so much info about the food, restaurants and things to know. He even did standup comedy, so we had quit a few laughs. Strongly recommended.

The Greenwich food and cultural tour showed us the other side of NY that you usually don't see by yourself. That was our goal and the tour fullfilled it. We would recommend this tour to everyone! Kind regards, Susan Rijk

We all loved this tour. It was something we've been wanting to do for years and it was well worth it. Not only did we discover fantastic shops that we went back to for some take home delights/foodie souvenirs but we also ate enough that it was a full lunch. What I loved most was the extra info we discovered about 'The Village', who owns which house, where the famous people hang out, some history of New York - - couldn't beat it. It was drizzly at the start of the tour but that didn't damper our spirits or appetites - I say, Do It!

I highly recommend the Greenwich Village Food & Culture Tour to anyone visiting New York City. It was fabulous - both interesting and entertaining, and the food tastings were all delicious. The best part of the day was Cindy our tour leader - she was incredibly knowledgable and a lot of fun. She kept us motivated and in very good humour (it was unfortunately a cold and rainy day).
