I went to school inNew York and spend a lot of time there and during this 3 hours I found out and saw things I never knew before on top of great food! Tour guide Barri was excellen, just enough info without overwhelming us and happy to answer any question. Her enthusiasm forher subject was evident and made us forget the rain!
Can't wait toget backand try out the shops and restaurants we sampled and to try another of the tours. |

As a first time visitor to New York City, my husband and I found this one of the highlights of our trip. If you want to find great places to eat without "chain restaurants", experience the flavors and culture of NYC, this is the tour to take. I found the tour guide most pleasurable, knowledgeable about not only the ingredients in the foods but where the food comes from AND a true New York City historian as well! What a great combination for a couple to enjoy together. Great tips for best time to show up at restaurants, extraordinatry deals and coupons to take with you. Even on a slightly rainy day, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and meeting the others in our group. Best of all, it was so pleasing to see that the generational Mom and Pop businesses are sustaining and sustaining each other. Go support these business by signing up for this little bit of heaven in Greenwich village. We will definately do this again AND strongly recommend to friends and family! |

I wish that I could give you a review, but unfortunately all flights into NY were cancelled and I could not take the tour I had booked. Since these circumstances were beyond my control is there any possibility of obtaining a credit so that I could put it toward a tour in the future? |

My husband and I loved this tour. There was plenty of food, the guide Sephra (spelling??) was amazingly charming and funny and entertaining. The history of the area, foods, etc really made this tour worthwhile - and the food was terrific. I highly recommend this tour. We'll definitely take another the next time we're in NYC |

Friends told us about the Greenwich Village food tour and we were really pleased that they had. It was interesting, educational, tasty and gave us an opportunity to explore the area that was previously unfamiliar to us.
We had a great tour guide, Safra, lovely sense of humour and very interesting.
Lots of food, first time I haVE eaten pizza in the morning!
Highly recomend this tour. |

Never thought I could have such a good time with people I've never met before but our guide was so friendly and made the whole group feel as though we were spending the day with family. Spent the afternoon with a group of 16 people, some came as far as Austalia and others as close as Long Island but it was extremely enjoyable getting to know all of them. I learned so much about Greenwhich Village, never realized there was so much history I hadn't knew. Would definitely recommend anyone that hasn't been there lately to take the tour and the food was Fantastic. What more could you ask? Good Food and Good Company made for a Perfect Afternoon. It was the best day off from work that I've had in a long time, looking to take my next tour very shortly. |

would have liked to have seen more of the Village...only covered a VERY limited area. Tour guide spoke too fast and had more one liners than historical facts. |
