Our guide KerriAnn was excellent. We had fun, we ate and we learned many interesting facts on the tour. I live here and I did not know many of the things that were mentioned on the tour. I highly recommend this tour and I am going to book a tour of ChinaTown because I always feel that I really don't know that area that well. Also, the food samplings on the tour were very good and there was a lot of them. The tour was well worth the money and the time. |

Great tour which I would highly recommend to friends. Gave us a great insight into local food culture on what to eat where, as well as the history on how it got there. Food tastes so much better when you appreciate the story behind it's origins. Our guide Zefra (sp?) was very entertaining and her New York sense of humor had everyone in stitches and out of their shells in no time. We actually cancelled our Comedy Club reservation for after the tour as we were all laughed-out. Food quality was great and ample for both breakfast and lunch combined (our tour was 11-2). Would go again to try one of the other tours like Chinatown. |

This tour was a highlight of our trip. Our tour guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to everyone. I can't remember what our tour guide's name was (sounded like sephra..?) anyway, we LOVED her!! and we wish her well with her pregnancy:) |

We had the most hilatiouse tour guide ever. Haven't laughed like that in a while. She was a character and a local New Yorker. The food places and restaurants she took us to, where friendly, cheerful and very local. The food ofcourse was great. I really recommend this tour not just because of the food, we got a nice little educational trip as well. Wouldn't recommend for kids but for any kind of occasion. |

I thought the tour would simply be stuffing my face with great food. Although there was that, it was much more. The tour guide was knowledgeable about the food we ate, the places we saw and about the history greenwich and west village. I've lived in Manhattan for 6 years and she showed me places I'd never experienced and taught me history I couldn't possibly have known. It was charming and interesting. |

We loved our tour. The Foods of NY were also so very accommodating to the group's dietary needs and made quick changes at the start of the tour that were seamless to the whole experience. Getting to go to the different restaurants and eat a sampling of foods was great and we loved getting the information and history of Greenwich village. Our guide Sefra was funny, witty, and herded us along the tour. Everyone we met was so nice and friendly, it breaks the NYC stereotype! |

This was a great way to spend a fall weekend afternoon. The amount of walking that is required is minimal on this trip so do not let the walking part frighten you. Many tastings are on the street due to small and or crowded places. That was a bit odd, but again, we really enjoyed ourselves. The first half of the day was tastings, the last half more history finishing with two tastings. |

We had a wonderful guide who led a very interesting tour. Most of the tastings are done on the street since the shops are too small to accommodate a group of 16 people. The food was AMAZING. It is obvious the tour company put a lot of time into a well-rounded tasting event. Joe's Pizza is fabulous and one of our favorite was a cauliflower dish served at the Parma restaurant. We left the tour feeling full and satisfied. Be prepared to be on your feet for a while!!! |
