Great experience for foodies!

Kurt took us on a rollicking trip through at least 7 (and maybe more -- we lost count!) restaurants on an easy walk. He was full of great tales and facts, and was quite the showman. The food samplings at each stop were wonderful and we want to go back to a couple of places on a later trip back. This was a totally different experience for visitors to Greenwich Village -- off the beaten path!

We throughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide - Kirk - was knowledgeable , enthusiastic, and very considerate of everyone in the group. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend the tour .

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour in Greenwich Village. I would do a similar tour again, but near the beginning of our time in New York so we could visit the area again for meals. Our guide was patient, knowledgeable and easy to understand. She shows an obvious affection for her city and the businesses we visited. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Manhattan.

The food was excellent with great variety. The quantity was neither too much nor too little; and it was almost calorie neutral given all of the walking! The cultural information was interesting and the perfect balance to the food! Our guide, Cynthia, was very knowledgeable and funny. I would do it again in a heartbeat and recommend it to both locals and tourists. Ellen

A great way to experience Greenwich Village

This was a great way to experience Greenwich Village - the historical information, information about the various restaurants and personal commentary from our guide Bari, was great !! The food tastings were ample in size and covered a variety of types of food. All in all, an experience not to be missed.

Terrific Outing!

My husband and I, along with another couple, took the GV Food Tour on Saturday. What a delightful experience. The weather was superb, which added to our great experience. Barri, our guide, was just terrific. She spoke clearly and very intelligently on all of the neighborhood restaurants and sights. She was very knowledgeable on all of the tastings. She kept the group moving, but at no time did we feel hurried. I will highly recommend this trip to all of our family and friends. Irene Baebler

I know that it was a food tour, but I would have liked a little more history of the area. The neighborhood is rich with history and diversity. The food that we were able to taste was excellent. I felt that an explanation of all the restraunts was a little overdone. Would still recommend highly.

Cindy was our wonderful guide. She made our tour fun and very informative. We loved all the tastings and enjoyed learning so much about Greenwich village that we would never have done without the tour. We took our two teenage children and they also had a great time. We returned to eat in one of the recommended restaurants, the Cornelia St Cafe but would not highly rate it. Better to prebook one of the others she recommends such as Home, Havana or Po. Enjoy.
