Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Loved the Greenwich Village Tasting Tour! Guide was so warm and friendly and very knowledgeable too! Pace yourself on eating because there is no way that you will leave wanting to eat again for hours. There is something for everyone - great food, fun historical facts and 3 hours of standing/walking to burn off all of the calories. Be prepared to be on your feet for the entire 3 hours except for a 20 minute sit down tasting. Can't wait to go on another tour next time I am in the city!

Our tour guide Cindy was extremely knowledgeable and upbeat. Her energy was wonderful and kept us interested and motivated throughout. I found that after the tour was over, many of the fun facts that she threw out at us over the course of the three hours stuck with me and I heard myself sharing my new knowledge with friends and family. We have even gone back to certain stops from the tour to try out other foods that she recommended. I would definitely do another tour with this company!

While the content and edibles on this tour were delightful, out tour guide made it amazing. She was so much fun, helpful, and responsive to all of the curiousity and needs of the group. What a great way to be introduced to the culture and people of Greenwich Village. Thank you for a fun day!

Dispite the cold we had a wonderful time. Our guide was enthusiastic and informative and proud of her neighborhood. I would highly recommend this and was sorry we did not have time to do another one

This tour was one of the highlights of a brief visit to New York City. Our guide was knowledgeable and professional. The tastings were excellent and plentiful. We gleaned a lot of useful information about the history, architecture and food of Greenwich Village. We ended up coming back to one of the restaurants that night for dinner.Would do it again, or try one of the other tours they have to offer. Great value for the money too!

I had never been to this party of NYC - so it was an awesome way to experience Greenwich and the local history, eateries and shops. This is a must tour to take.

I took this tour 2 years ago and loved it so I recommended it to my friends. We took the tour as a group and I loved it as much as I did 2 years ago and everyone else in my group loved it too. The tour has changed a little bit since I took it 2 years ago so that was nice too. We especially loved our tour guide, Barry, who gave us lots of fun facts and history of the area.

Out of the four in our group two were from out of town and two were New Yorkers. Long story short, we will all be back to the places we visited and tasted at in the future. Our tour guide was fantastic and even though it was cold and snowing she was spot on and enthusiastic the entire time.
