Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

The Greenwich Village food tour is a really great to find out about the village and eat from a few of the fabulous places. The tour takes you down streets and eateries you might not normally explore. It is a fun way to spend three hours, get to know the city and eat up a storm.

I don't normally provide reviews of things but I have to say this tour was definitely a highlight for my wife and me. In fact, it exceeded expectations. Our tour guide, Kurt, was really fun and engaging. He had a ton if info about the neighborhood and the places where we received food. Speaking of the food, there was just enough of a taste at each place and we absolutely loved everything we were given. In addition, the tour of the neighborhood was also charming and informative. Everyone who has asked us how our vacation was gets a full report of this tour and a strong recommendation to take it if they are in New York. Given our experience, I'd try one of the other neighborhoods if we visit the city again.

Our group of friends had a fabulous time on our tour of Greenwich Village. All the stops were terrific.We had a wonderful guide, Kirt, who personalized the trip and made the trip both informative and entertaining. Each of the food tastings were delicious! Loved it...Ruth

I had done this amazing tour back in December last year and enjoyed it so much that i had to do it again !! The tour was as great as it was last time! I had Barri as my tour guide, she was very informative and friendly. The food tastings were out of this world, mouth watering, heaven... BLISS! I think all the stops were amazing, although the soy and sake place could definetly be left out!! Didnt enjoy it as much there. Love love love Palma! and the amazing risotto balls from Faiccos and the canolis from Roccos!! YUM! Salvating as i type this! mmmm Thanks Barri for an awesome tour!

Had a great time. Tour guide Barrie was great, giving detail on restaurants, architecture, history, etc. Will definitely recommend to friends going to nyc!

My Mum and I booked this tour after reading many of the great reviews - and I'm pleased to say we were not disappointed. Curt our tour guide was brilliant; he tried to remember everyone's names and was great fun and a wealth of knowledge on all things Greenwich Village and showbiz! I was really surprised by the amount and quality of the foods tasted, 2 were seated tasting and the other 3 on the go. It was a great way to see the area - i would highly recommend to anyone visiting New York. It was only a shame that we didn't have time to take another of their tours.

One of the hilights of our first trip to New York. Cindy, our guide was a fountain of knowledge and provided so much history of the area. The food sampled was superb and Cindy's recomendations led us to Palma for dinner and it was outstanding. Because of this tour we came back to the village and shopped at Amys, Murrays and John's Pizza and the bookstore and went to the Back Fence for some excellent folk music the next day. Can't wait to come back to New York and do another Foods of New York tour and will definitely recommend this experience to our friends.

We had so much fun eating and learning about the delights of Greenwich. Cindy, our incredibly informative tour guide was so much fun to be with! This is a tour you have to do, especially if you're a foodie!
