Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

We had a great time sampling some of the Village's best cuisine. I had done the tour before, but my two companions (daughter and a friend) had not. I was pleased that there were some new additions on the tour. As a result of our experience, we will go back and visit some of the restaurants as paying customers. LOVED the Asian vegan at Soy Sake and the DELICIOUS mac and cheese from Home. Great deal and a wonderful way to see a less-traveled part of the city. GO!

My husband, son(11 yrs old) and I attended the tour and we all thought it was great!! Not only did we get to try a variety of tasty NYC foods, we learned a lot of interesting information about the area. We've been to NYC several times and this was the first time we learned so much about the West Village and the great restaurants to try. Heather was a great guide!! We will defintely select another tour to go on next time in NYC!

Great tour, lots of interesting historical and cultural facts, friendly tour guide, Barrie. Can't wait to try tour of another part of the city!

Though everything was good, who would have thought our favorite dish would be cauliflower?

I took my 13 year old daughter on the tour. We highly recommend! Our tour guide, Kerianne, was fantastic! All of the food was great, and represented a wide variety of cultures. Very impressed with the history and architecture information that was weaved into the tour. We will definitely take another tour on our next visit to NYC.

We especially enjoyed the guide and her delightful commentary, she was knowledgeable of the Greenwich Village information, but New York and the surrounding neighbor hoods as well. I though the variety of the foods was well planned out and the walking tour part , to be very interesting. We were a party of 8 and she treated us as family. I highly recommend this tour if you want to hear and see the sounds of New York

We did not know what to expect, we knew it was a food tour in Grennich Village and thats all. We thought our tour guide was very gifted and full of information that we would have missed out had we gone to these resturants & shops on our own. We had an awsome time and would highly recommend this tour to all our friends & family. Next time we visit NYC we will do another tour for sure!!

Kurt introduced himself very enthusiastically and quickly learned all of our names. He explained what the tour would be like and took us to very interesting sites along the way. It was obvious that he was well prepared, versed on his material and enjoyed doing his job. He had interesting tidbits about the neighborhoods and the local eateries.

What a fun way to spend a few hours! Curt was an excellent guide. This was my favorite tour of any of my trips to NYC.

Tour was conducted too fast, the eating stops were rushed. I think the guide had to cover too much. Two pizzas, two deserts? Much of the food was average. The Asian food stop seemed out of place in a predominantly Italian food tour. The history could have included more on the wonderful folk musicians who got their start in the Village. Mindless emphasis on what building sold for how much. I do not think I could recommend this tour.
