The bike tour fully met our expectations. The guide was knowledgable and fun to listen to. He provided the background to appreciate and learn more about the sites within this famed park. The two hours passed quite quickly. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable ride and a wonderful way to see so much of the park in a relatively short time.

Another wonderful tour by Foods of NY Tours

This is our 2nd Foods of NY tour. We took the Soho tour 1 1/2 years ago and loved it. This tour was also great! Our tour guides were very knowledgeable both times, both about the foods and restaurants and the area of NYC. We're looking forward to going back to some of the restaurants we had tastings at as well as others that were pointed out to us.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like to get a "taste" of the area, culture, and its history as well as the wonderful foods located in Greenwich Village. We traveled with friends to NYC from Illinois and decided this would be a great way to really get into the "village" and experience it firsthand. Our guide was enthusiastic and well-informed about the area and took us to some great spots for both the food and culture. We did not leave hungry! Thanks for a great time!

We truly enjoyed "eating" our way through such a special neighborhood - definitely made us want to return for a full meal at the places we visited-our guide did a fantastic job describing the history, architecture and infusing fun anecdotes into her talk. There was something for everyone!

Greenwich History and Food Rolled Up In One!

Who could ask for anything more? Barri, our guide, blended the history of the area with some interesting details about the food establishments we visited. The food was amazing, the variety was terrific as there was something for everyone, foodies and non-foodies alike. My husband and I are food and history enthusiasts, so this provided a perfect combination. We learned architectural details about the area, historical facts and got some great insight into the food scene in Greenwich. One of the restaurants Barri recommended was where we had dinner that night - Palma Restaurant on Cornelia Street. It certainly stood up to the rave review that Barri gave this gem. We've decided that we will do this type of tour every time we come to New York or any other major city we visit - Paris is next. Do you have a tour recommendation?

A Must Excursion!!!

My wife was very hesitant about this particular walking tour. However, after meeting the guide and tasting the great food along the way, she realized this was going to be a great experience. The guide was energetic, fun and knew all of our names within 5 minutes (14 people on tour). He also was well informed of the area and extremely well cultured. The guide took us to the best eateries, showed us famous places and commented on the architectural design of the buildings. This was by all means not a boring tour. There was plenty of food along the way, even though previous reviews said there was not enough to get filled up. I disagree!! We were stuffed by the end of the tour and I must say, the best food tasting was the vegetarian restaurant. So all in all, I highly recommend the Greenwich Village Food Tasting and Cultural Tour. It's a must when visiting NYC!!!

My teenage son and I were delighted with the Greenwich Village food tour. Our knowledgeable guide shared lots of interesting tidbits of information about the food establishments, architecture and neighborhood, while the local eateries and markets shared lots of delicious tidbits for the stomach. I think everyone walked away happy and full! I highly recommend this tour.

Marie was our tour guide and she was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgable. There was so much food at the tastings that I was more than full. Loved trying foods that I wouldn't normally eat. Well worth the price
