Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

My group had a wonderful wonderful time...our guide Cindy gave us three hours of fun and info about the food and the Village!!! It was a very hot day the restaurants all welcomed us all in and the food was just delicious.

I highly recommend attending one of these tours. The Greenwich Village tour was humorous, factual and food filled. We had many delicious tastings to places that I would revisit. I also would take another food tour; it was that much fun. Our guide, Cindy, was the best.

Out guide Cary-Ann was brilliant - just the right blend of facts, anecdotes and humour. There was so much food, we didn't need anything else for lunch. I am six months pregnant and it was a gentle walk, not too strenuous. Also, a great way to meet and chat with fellow travelers while discovering a hidden part of NYC.

We didn't know what to expect, but decided to check out the tour to learn more about an area of NY that we wanted to explore. The tour was EXCELLENT! Our guide, Carrie Ann, was fabulous! She was so well spoken, knew so much about the area and the restaurants/shops/architecture/history, etc.! Each stop was different yet interesting (and delicious) and there was plenty of food. We would highly recommend this tour to others hoping to learn more about the area and taste some great food.

Great tour, great itme. Guide was very knowledgeable and fun. Enjoyed the restaurants and food tasting more than the historica/residential. Overall, our group enjoyed it very much.

An unusual look at parts of New York perhaps you would not otherwise see, as well as sampling a variety of food at some great places. The guide was terrific and had real enthusiasm.

Attended the Cutural & Food Tasting of Greenwich village walking tour . Tour guide Marie was excellent . Speaks well , lots of fun and has lots of interesting facts & tidbits . Loved all the food & would defintely eat at a couple of the restaurants on my next trip to NY . My 18 yerar old daughter also enjoyed it . There were 16 of us in the group and got to chat with people from other countries (Austalia, England ) which was great . Have already recomended this tour to a number of my co-workers here in Montreal , Quebec .

Our tour guide, Maria, was absolutely wonderful! She had so much energy, info and knowledge we couldn't take it all in. She was very outgoing and personable. We loved all the tastings and really loved the stores she took us in. The restaurants were wonderful. We would never have found the Milk and Cookies store if she hadn't taken us there.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour and our host which gave us a historical insight into life in old and modern in Greenwich Village. There was a good mix of sweet and savory food and historical information as well as modern day stories about the neighbourhood. I don't know how it could have been any better except that 16 people was 2 too many. This was our first visit to New York City and we found this tour to be a great way to get our feet wet and it gave us an excellent focus for our day. I would say this is a must do for a visit to New York and we will highly recommend it to our friends.

I bought my Husband the tour for his Birthday. We both had such a great time! Our tour guide Marie was wonderful! My Mother and her girl friends are going to book the same tour around the Holidays. I may just have to tag along as well. Keep up the good work and thank you. Jen McEntee
