| My friend and I thought the tour was fantastic. To begin, the food was delicious! Mike did an excellent job explaining the history of the foods we tasted and Greenwich Village as a whole! The tour is the perfect pace, covers the perfect amount of time/distance, and gives an indepth explanation of what makes Greenwich Village so special. You will not have the same experience if you simply walk around by yourself. The tour gives you an insider's perspective and provides details you otherwise would not know. Highly recommended!!! |

| This was the first time I have visited New York as a tourist. I was very pleased with the tour. Our guide, Heather, provided my wife and I with insights into the history of the area and I particulary enjoyed strolling through some of the residential neighborhoods. Heather's enthusiasm for the city was apparent and she made us feel very welcome. The food was very good and we had a chance to sample some new cheeses and ethnic foods. We plan to visit New York again soon and we will definitely take another tour. I have an entirely new appreciation for the city. |

| The walking tour was excellent. I had read from the reviews the lunch afterwards is not necessary. The food was great and so was the tour guide.
I would definintely recommend the tour. |

| Cindy is wonderful! Our group of 8 loved her sense of humor, timing and information. Couldn't of had a better guide. We were so glad we'd chosen this event and enjoyed seeing Greenich, in addition to sampling a variety of great foods. We'll definitely be back to eat in the area on our own during our next NYC visit.
This tour was one of the highlights of the trip for us. |

| I have taken this tour a second time and brought back others to eat in the restaurants recommended.I have been on the Chelsea market tour as well and highly recommend that as well.
I hope that new neighborhoods will be added even in other boroughs. This is a great way to spend an afternoon in the city and a good value for an expensive city. |

| My sister was visiting from out of state, so I decided to sign us up for this culinary tour since she is a food aficianado and is also very interested in architecture. It more than exceeded our expectations!! We tried a diverse selection of food and our appetites were very satisfied by the end of the tour. It was a great way to learn about the history and culture of the W. Village, as well as become more familiar with shops that I would have never noticed through just walking in the area.
I highly recommend this tour, even if you are already a city dweller. Enjoy! |

| I loved our tour guide. She was very informative, intelligent, kind, and enthusiastic. I loved the information on the village and the restaurants recommended. And I especially loved the food tasting. The historical information about some of the buildings were really interesting, but I would have liked a little less of that and more food. Thanks so much. I would definitely recommend this tour. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Marie as our guide. We were given some historical information on buildings and some cultural information on the musicians
of the swinging 60s who had lived in the Village. The tastings were varied and welcome on our 3 hour walk but would have liked just one pizza tasting perhaps replacing the second one with some other New York delicacy. The weather was very warm and we had a very pleasant tour. |

| This tour really wasn't what I expected. Considering the stores and restaurants in the area, the food we were given was not up to scratch. Murrays cheese shop looked great and had some fantastic looking cheeses, we were given three tiny squares of hard cheese which all tasted similar. No blue, no soft. The olive oil store was also really worth the visit, where you could easily spend half an hour sampling different oils and vinegars however, we had one slice of bread with two samples drizzled on it. The Milk and Cookie shop was cute and the cookie was fantastic. You also get two slices of pizza from different places, a very strange deep fried ball of rice (which made me feel ill) and we gave up before the visit to the kebab shop........
The guide gives you the history of some of the buildings and the general area, some of which was quite interesting but the tour was just too long. 3.5 hours and he was still going......too much for us, so we left. If you only have a few days in the city, don't waste your time with this. |
