Food tour, not babysitting service

| We thought the premise of the tour was great - we are foodies and were excited about exploring the food of Greenwich village. However, we were GREATLY DISAPPOINTED that the tour guide seemed to cater exclusively to one family - in particular - the young children of one family - in our large group. We were rushed to different locations if the kids were bored or cold, the guide answered all the kids questions (which were rudely yelled over the other questions of paying patrons on the tour) and the kids were allowed to run wild and dictate most of the tour. You might consider in future having "family" tours versus "adult-only" groups.
The tour was good - we enjoyed the food. There was a bit more "historical" commentary than we had anticipated, although we enjoyed it but likely would have prefered more food. It also might have been nice to have smaller groups so we could actually be allowed to go into some of the establishments and look around (most often we had to wait on the street while the guide - with the kids - went inside the shops to fetch our food). |

| Marie was the best tour guide. We were given a very imformative tour and tasted the best food. However, Marie was so enthusiastic in her explanations, history and description of the area, restaurants and food, that it added so much more to the tour.
I would highly recommend the tour. |

| Great tour for both locals and out-of-towner. I'm from the area and after this tour discovered so many more places to eat and purchase food. It was great. The tour guide was very knowledgable with the history of the neighborhood and gave good opinions about the places. I can't wait to go on the chelsea tour. |

| My sister-in-law (in her early twenties) and I (in my mid-thirties) both loved this tour! She lives in Manhattan and I was visiting from Texas. The tour was interesting and informative to both of us--she who had been to the Village before and me who had never been. The food was diverse enough to allow us to try some foods we hadn't tried before yet mingled with some good old favorites--the pizza at the #28 restaurant was fabulous!! It definitely introduced us to restaurants that we want to go back to again. Can't wait for my next visit to do the Chelsea tour. |

| We very much enjoyed this tour. Our guide was very well informed on all the material she presented to us. We got a lot more than we bargained for in this tour and the food was great. Will be recommending this to others!! |

A wonderful way to discover a new area

| We thought that this would be a great way to discover a new area and get away from the tourist eateries around the Time Square area that we spent the majority of our last visit at.
This tour gave us some great food suggestions to return to during our extended stay in NYC. I highly recommend doing the tour at the start of your trip if at all possible, so you have plenty of time to return to the numerous places recommended by the tour. Our guide had a wonderful knowledge of the area giving us a good mix of food tastings and history
We tried a number of the different places after the tour all with equally satisfying results. A wonderful day out. Not even the rain could ruin the day. Plenty of tastings on the tour to even satisfy the fussy eater. |

| Marie did an excellent job on our Greenwich tour, informing us about historical sites and points of interest in the neighborhood. In addition to the 8 delicious food tastings we got an overview of many local restaurants and their specialties This is the second time my husband and I have taken this particular tour and were pleased that our family enjoyed it as much as we did. I have also taken the Chelsea tour which was led my Curtis as was our previous Greenwich tour. I must take the opportunity to say that he is entertaining and very informed about both areas of the city. He is a wonderful asset to the company.. |
