Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

I had taken the tour a number of years ago, This tour was for the same area but it had changed slightly in that different restaurants were featured. Great food, fascinating history and knowledgeable tour guides. I would highly recommend this and other tours offered by the same company.

I took my twins to NY as a graduation present from High School. We wanted to experience something interesting and different from the norm. We love History and food and really enjoyed Diana as our guide. We will be taking all the other tours offered when we visit again. Highly recommended by folks from North Carolina.

It was a very hot and humid day that made the tour difficult. I suggest adding at least two more places to taste food (In addition to the six places) and try to make the activity inside the restaurants as much as possible. Our tour leader was very nice & well culinary educated.

This was our 2nd time doing the Greenwich Village Food Tour. We took 2 friends this time who loved it as much as we did. The food was great (and filling!) and the tour guide was fantastic. The only draw back was our tour was at noon in the middle of NYC's heat wave. We persevered and were glad we did.

We very much enjoyed our Greeniich tour. Its was a hot day and our tour guide Heather made the experience as comfortable as she could and tried to keep us out of the sun as much as possible. The tour was interesting and we learned much of the history of the area and the shops that line the streets. We enjoyed sampling the foods and trying new things we had not experienced before! The Brownstones in Greenich are wonderful and we all enjoyed the history background on the buildings.I would definitely recommend the tour as a great N.Y.C experience.

My girlfriends (visiting from Maui) and I (Maui transplant to NJ) came up on July 6, the hottest day of the year. Heather was outstanding in that she tried to keep us either in the shade or inside of the restaurants as much as possible. She was well-versed in the history of the Greenwich Village area, and made the tour pleasant and fun. Also, since we were running late, your guy on the 800 line assured us we were fine and was our GPS via phone! This is my third tour with your company, and I reccommend it to everyone, especially those in the Phila. area who have never heard or thought of such an excursion! Thanks so much! Salli Gordon

This tour was so fun! Our tour guide was amazing and he actually made the tour great!! He was so funny and whitty!! The foods we tried were excellent and all different types of things. I would definitely recommend this tour. although probably not in July b/c we were melting the whole time.

Anyone would enjoy this tour. We ate a lot. We learned a lot. We used recommendations to eat a great meal two days later. Take the tour!

Let me start by saying our tour guide, Kurt, was awesome. If you are planning a trip to New York, you definitely need to schedule a Greenwich Food Tour. Three hours seems like a lot but it went by so quickly. You taste plenty of food and you definitely won't want lunch afterwards. Very filling and all the food was great. A "must" if you go to New York! A++++

Curt was our tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed him. We went to several restaurants and had more food than we anticipated. We were stuffed when we finished!! Everything was very organized. Each restaurant had our food already prepared for us when we arrived and all was delicious. We also enjoyed seeing several places in the Greenwich Village area that were interesting, but not restaurants. The tour gave us some great ideas for things to do on our next visit. I highly recommend this tour to anyone. You won't be disappointed!!
