Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Extremely knowledgable guide (Carrie-Ann), and great tastings. Would have liked to have moved a little faster, but understand that trying to accommodate a variety of people.

I read the reviews prior to booking tour. They all seemed to be positive. I would have to agree with their responses. It was really very interesting providing great food insights and cultural background of Greenwich Village that I hadn't know. Carrie Ann was great. Also met Sephora (not sure of spelling) before our group left and she was charming. My friend and I both thought the tour was well worth the money and the food was excellent. The variety of stops provided a unique view of Greenwich Village cuisine. Food from Little Havana a little spicy for me but others in the group thought it was great. I would highly recommend the tour and will probably investigate other Zerve tours when returning to Manhattan again.

Been to NYC many times and this time decided to try one of these tour/tasting activities. It was wonderful! So informative about Greenwich, and all the tasting choices on this tour were delicious. Very hot that day, and tour guide always made sure to be in shaded areas when making stops. With my daughter who had just moved to Brooklyn, and she is sure to return and try some of the restaurants that we sampled. Will definitely return to Greenwich and then try another of these great tours.

Let me preface by saying we are not "tours" type of people, but we just finished the Greenwich tour with Heather and it was great!! All food samplings were fantastic and we learned much about the area of Greenwich Village. Heather was very informative. They were extremely accommodating as one member of the tour had an extra guest. Ages of the tour ranged from kids to seniors. The pace was good for everyone. Loved the fact they concentrated on mom & pop stores, not chains. Really felt like we got the inside scoop of locals. I would recommend this tour to anyone wishing to explore New York , especially, NOT by bus drive through.

I came with friends in October. I liked it so much, the next time I came to the city with family I book the tour again. Looking forward to trying one of the other tours next time I come.

This Food Tour was great. The amount of food you get on the tour is plenty, and lets you sample the great varities that Grennwich Village offers. The tour guide with their knowledge of the area and thet background also provide a fun and informative tour. Highly recommend to anyone!

Tour guide: Sidney was great, she was friendly, funny, and very informative. I lived here for 18 years and I learned so much within only those few hours that I never knew growing up here. I recently moved to another state and the tour ignited my love for this city. This tour has created memories worth a life time, can't wait to come back to go on another tour. Thank you for a great tour, will recommended it to all who come to visit.

An entertaining and informative walk through West Village sprinkled with tastings from recommended restaurants and shops. Lots of historical information about the area and buildings, and many resources for dining out. A great way to get your bearings and orient yourself to the area.

My 12 year old daughter and I we returning to NY for her dance team, and we wanted to do something other than shop. (Can you believe it!) My friend had taken this food tour last year and highly recommended it, so we decided to try it. After all who doesn't enjoy food? My main concern was walking for 3 hours, and would my feet survive. The tour is set up in a way that you are not just walking and tasting. You walk, taste, and pause to learn a little bit about the culture. The guide was courteous, punctual and knowledgable about the area. There was plenty of food, absolutely palatable to anyones taste. We also learned about the history and architecture of the area, which was enlightening. I would recommend this tour to seniors that can ambulate without diffculty, couples,and families with children who have a good attention span. Some of the places that we visited were small, and became crowded quite quickly.
