My wife and I went on the East Village food tour, including all the local eateries/specialty stores on Bleaker, as well as the quaint restaurant row on Cornelia Street. The tour was informative without being boring, interesting without being cheesy, and entertaining without over doing it. The best part of the tour was our tour guide. A hilariously witty woman named Sephra led our tour, and she was keeping us laughing the entire time. She has to be one of the funniest people I've met, and everyone working at various restaurants/shops knew her and joked with her the entire time. She totally made that tour. If you do go on this tour, request Sephra as your guide! |

My 22 year old daughter and I were in New York celebrating her graduation from college and decided this would be a fun way to get to know Greenwich Village, which it definitely turned out to be. The day was awful, 50's and rainy, so that dampened our enthusiasm somewhat, but we still really enjoyed it. Learning the tucked away places that you normally wouldn't, seeing the architecture, and knowing the history of it, and obviously tasting some awesome food, made it worth standing in the cold rain. Heather was outstanding! |

We were three sisters from Australia, found this tour on internet search and cannot recommend highly enough. Our guide's name was Marie a very pleasant ,knowledgible and interesting lady, who I think was a big part in making this tour so much fun . Three hours pass so quickly and the food tastings were delicious and plentiful. This was the best tour we took during our trip, value for money ,interesting history and truly an enjoyable way to see new sights. Thanks Marie you are fabulous will recommend to anyone travelling to NY .

The tour itself is fun and very informative with lots of historical information on the area. As a frequent visitor to the Village however, I was a little disappointed by the food you get. Two different slices of pizza might be fun for a foreigner but for a foodie was not exactly what I had in mind. You do get yummy samples from Murrays cheese and O&CO but both of these places give out free samples anyway. Good fun, especially for out-of-towners to spot good restaurants, but you will have to return to them later to actually get the food since none of the lovely places in the village are actually sampled on this tour. |

Loved this walking tour. Our guide Heather was very knowledgeable about the Village, it's history and some of the architecture. The food stops were great and we had more than enough to eat throughout the tour. I would highly recommend this for anyone visiting the city. |

Three hours went by like ten minutes. We wished it were even longer. History of the various places was fascinating. The food wonderful, various, and fun. We are eager to return to the area and explore even more. |
