Barri made the tour a joy. A good combination of culture and nosh, and a good selection of the latter. As luck would have, the people on the tour were all quite nice, too, and compatible. |

This is a repeat tour for me and I loved every minute of it again! Cindy is great and such a great tour guide. She has so much energy and knowledge. It's obvious that she loves what she does and loves to share with others! The food was great at every restaurant and the owners and/or managers at each location were so welcoming and pleasant. I will always do a food tour with each and every visit to NYC. Can't wait for the next one!!!!!! |

Cindy was an excellent guide. She was funny, good natured, and interesting. The food was all wonderful and we really enjoyed the historical facts we learned. Our group included 2 women of early 50's and two women who were 21. All four of us agreed it was our favorite tour on our week in NYC (we took a total of 5 tours) and would definately recommend it to others and repeat it if we ever have the opportunity at some time in the future.
PS: If it is possible, please tell Cindy that Barb found the stone for her ring which we thought had been lost on our tour. |

We spent five days in NYC and the food tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The tour was a great way to see and learn about Greenwich Village while tasting delicious foods from local establishments. We visited spots off the beaten path that had a real local feel. Our tour guide, Cindy, was great. We'd certainly recommend the food tour and can't wait to go back and try one of the other neighborhood tours offered. |

I lived in New York and attended culinary school, and remained there for training. I left the city fifteen years ago, but love to visit. I felt that the Greenwich Village tour gave me insight and history into places that I was familiar with and introduced me to new ones. My two children, 10 and 12, enjoyed the experience as well. Our guide, Maria, gave great information and historical facts without ever boring the kids. Her enthusiasm was awesome. I am so glad that the kids got to experience the tour because now they have some of the same passion for NYC that I have. I am so grateful to everyone who contributed to making the experience so memorable. I have and will continue to recommend the tour to anyone visiting the City.
The food selections were great as well. My kids and I enjoyed it all. |

I went on our tour with my sisters and really enjoyed the variety of foods that we were given. We also learned a lot about the history of the village. It was not too short and not too long. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting something a little different than the typical bus tour. |

The most enjoyable part of the tour was the historical background provided by the tour guide, and the chance to visit sections of the city you wouldn't otherwise. The restaurant recommendations make this tour worth it! |

Our group host, Cindy, made this a fantatsic event, with her enthusiasm for the area, the food and the people. Chance meetings with locals were a scream, especially the old lady Cindy couldn't remember ever meeting before!
All the eateries were welcoming and the samples of food gave a real flavour of the Greenwich Village and the ethnic mix that make it so unique.
We enjoyed it so much we visited again and ate at Soy and Sake - as vegetarians this was a great find, being a totally vegetarian asian restaurant - and Rocco's for coffee and cheesecake.
My wife and I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a real feel for New York, which can seem daunting at first but, when the curtain is pulled back for you, reveals real people and their history. |

Our group of four were so pleased with our tour. Our guide, Heather was very informative about the different foods we were tasting and the historical values to the Greenwich Village neighborhood. We enjoyed every minute of our tour and would highly recommend it to anyone that is visiting New York City. It took only 3 hours and was a great way to learn about this part of New York City. |
