We really enjoyed the tour, our guide Sethra was very entertaining with a great sense of humor. The tour allowed us to taste foods from different restaurants in the area and gave us some insight into the neighborhood. Since we live in a suburb and visit the city periodically, it gave us some ideas in terms of which restaurants we would like to come back to. I'd definitely recommend this tour to a friend. Taking it on a nice sunny day definitely helped.

The guide was great, Saphra (spelling?) provided a good mix of food, locations, history, and culture. She was great and made for an excellent experience.

Wow - it was a scrumpcious way of getting to know a neighbourhood in New York and supporting the family-run eateries. Our local guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. It was a lovely way to explore Greenwich village and sample some of the many sights, sounds and tastes it has to offer.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. My husband works in NYC and yet he learned things he never knew. The food was delicious and we will make a point of going back to the restaurants to dine. Our tour guide (Cindy) was terrific. She knew her stuff and seemed very excited to be giving us the tour. This was a birthday gift to my husband and I think its a great idea for a gift especially for folks visiting the tri-state area.

We were blessed to have great weather for the beginning of March so the walk about and stops were perfect. Our guide Heather was great with wonderful enthusiasm and lots of knowledge about Greenwich Village. Just the right amount of info that a frequent NYC visitor (me) can use on my next trip down to explore on my own...especially restaurant suggestions. Food tastings were yummy and I was very full at the end. I was with 6 of my friends along with a few others in the tour and all was smooth! Look forward to other tours in the future!

From the moment the tour started and our convivial guide gave us our bottled water, I knew this was going to be an amazing culinary journey. Eating our way through the west village was a three hour experience I will not forget..you learn a great deal about the history of the area, recommendations on places to dine and soak in this special part of the city.. and the FOOD, oh my, you get to sample an array of delicious food from several establishments-its really worth the time and money and you will not be disappointed. Its an afternoon to saveur for many reasons. Plus all the walking that you do will make you less guilty on the indulgences!

We were a group of friends from Sweden, visiting New York for the first time. The Greenwich village tour, showed us an another side of New York, beside the traditional "must-se". It was a fantastic tour, and we had a fantastic great guide, Safra, who was funny, intresting, generous and intelligent! And the food - mmm....marvellous! I can warmly recommend this tour, if you want to know a little bit more about this neighbourhood and itīs history which is strongly connected to itīs food and, of course, if you enjoy eating really good food! Thanks!

I frequently make evening visits to Greenwich Village for the jazz clubs, and I walk (no taxi or subway). I thought I knew the area, but I was happily surprised to learn much more. The guide knew her subjects well: food and the Village. She kept things moving at the right pace for our group, and spoke clearly and as loud as was required. We plan to return to this or another tour in a few months with our adult children.

Our child of 20 years old enjoyed it as much as my husband and I . Our Tour guide was wonderful. I forget her name but her email was something like Sephora. Our tour was at 1230 in Greenwich on 3/6/10. We will definitely do it again next time when we are in NYC. From Cincinnati

Had a great time. Grew up in New York and lived in East Village 20 years ago. This was such a fun tour and I learned things I never knew. Great food. Great history. A must for tourists or native New Yorkers!
