I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Our tour guide, Kurt, did an amazing job. He was very personable and spent time getting to know us. The food samples were varied and delicious. It was interesting to hear about the history/culture of Greenwich Village. This is a great way to see The Village! |

As a family (including our 15 and 11 year old kids) that likes to try new resteraunts as often as we can, we thought this tour would be a great way of samplilng a variety of places while getting some background info on the neighborhood. We received both to our satisfaction. Our guide was energetic and full of info and did a good job of getting to know those of us in the group. Besides being satisfied with all of the food we tasted, the bonus is the insight you get about several other resteraunts in the neighborhood that may go unnoticed . Also, at one point the info we were getting about the neighborhood was so interesting that several of us forgot we were on a "tasting" tour. Definitely worth the price. And, definitely an excellent substitute for lunch that day. |

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to New York for my birthday. We were in New York for a little over a week and did just about everything we could while we were there, including Times Square, Broadway shows, bus tours, the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Central Park, Grand Central Station, etc.
The Greenwich Village Food Tasting and Cultural Tour was by far one of my favorite activities my boyfriend planned. Despite the rain and very cold weather, we had a great time. Our tour guide was excellent and the food was awesome. It was very informative and interesting, and it really gave me a feeling of what it would be like to live in New York, both in the past and present. I would highly recommend this to anyone planning a trip or just looking for something to do in New York, even a fun date idea for locals.
The only downside is that I don't have the recipes for all the great food we ate! |

Food samples were varied and very good quality. Enough food to count as a lunch. Guide knowledgeable about district and we all enjoyed learning about the history of the people that live and work there. Learned so much about many things pertaining to visiting NYC. It was really great, our second tour here and would do it again. Have recommended it to others and will continue to do so. Thanks for a great tour!!! |

This was a very enjoyable tour, even in the rain. We visited places we would probably have not noticed on our own and tasted so much food we were full before the tour ended. |

Despite a steady rain, our guide made the tour fun and interesting. My 9 year old grandson enjoyed the tastings and tolerated the history lesson without complaining. |

My sister and brother-in-law are from FL and I live in CT. We booked this tour last week when we thought the rain chance would be 20%. Turns out we had a major storm and were wondering if we would even go into the city. I'm so glad we did! Our tour guide Heather was very knowledgeable and provided us with some excellent food. Two different pizza slices (Joes's and Bleeker St. Pizza), a wonderful cauliflower dish from Palma (I will be going back there!), an interesting and tasty Japanese boxed lunch (vegetarian pulled pork and rice, veg. dumpling, seaweed), an oh-so-yummy oatmeal chocolate chip cookie from Milk and Cookies (too rushed - didn't have time to enjoy the cookie and milk would have been a nice addition). We also had canolis from Rocco's and a nice selection of cheese and soprasata from Murry's. We also got to see the narrowest house in Manhattan and got to go into a couple of speakeasies. Would definitely recommend this tour!!! Can't wait to do another tour. |

The tour was great. It was well paced and the food at each stop was very good. The tour guide also gave us lots of good info on places to eat in the neighborhood that were not on the tour. I would definitely recommend it! |
