Our tour guide (Sephra) was very knowledgeable and fun!! The choice of restaurants and shops selected for the tour were excellent -- the samplings were great and the right amount for the walking tour...it was exciting to see the sites and the residences around Greenwich Village as well! This tour is highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience the culture and food of a historical neighborhood!

My husband and I live in Hoboken and our family roots are in NYC metro area. We thoroughly enjoyed all the great information about the history of the area. We feel as though we now discovered a new area to go out to dinner!

Tasting the REAL New York City- One bite at a time

This was the best way to experience foods the locals love, and learn a little history along the way. Our guide, Amy, was full of fun facts about the city, the people who live there, and "hidden treasures" in Greenwich Village. Our tour focused on Italian foods and it was all amazing. Appetizers, main dishes and desserts! We tried a variety of foods from locally owned shops and restaurants--a full meals worth by the end of the tour--and each tasting was better than the one before. At one restaurant, Palma, the chef even came outside and met privately with our group to tell us about his dish. We can't wait to go back to NYC and try another tour!

Great time on a very cold Valentine's Day

My husband and I traveled to New York for a romantic Valentine's Day weekend. Back home, DC had experienced the worst snowstorn ever recorded. Needless to say, we were excited to get away. Despite the below freezing temperatures, our tour guide really knocked this one out the park! The tour was rich in content from both a cultural and food tasting perspective. Although we had traveled to New York several times in the past, we learned about some of new York's best "off the beaten path" attractions.

Really enjoyed the tour even though very cold, guide was excellent - enjoyed second half of tour the most that also gave more history of Greenwich Village. Would highly recommend the tour to see parts of New York that as a tourist on your own you wouldn't see.

The tour was the best part of our trip. It provided a small 'taste' of NY in a creative and fun way. A great way to experience the Greenwich area for an affordable price. Would definitely recommend it to others and do the tour again!

For bona fide foodies and lovers of history.

The Greenwich food tour was a great way to tour the area and get a delightful mix of historical architectural and foodie related information all within 3 short hours. The information topics ranged from what makes a real New York style pizza to who lived in certain buildings and when. Local snippets of information made the tour lively and real. The several non-small tasting portions also helped keep us occupied. Lots of fun had by all.
