Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

The tour was so much fun and we ate some amazing food. Our tour guide Cindy was so upbeat and it seemed like all of the local vendors knew her extremely well. She really went out of her way to personalize everything. The weather was rainy and miserable but the time flew with how much fun we had. I'd recommend this tour to anyone! Local or tourist.

We had the best day despite the horrible weather, our tour guide Amy was so noligable of not only the food and restaurants but also the amazing history and culture of Greenwich Village. This the second tour I have taken with the company and we can't wait to the spring to do another. Thank you again for a great day in New York.

It was an amazing experience, and the time went by so quickly. We enjoyed all of our stops and very much enjoyed our tour guide who provided great knowledge and entertainment. After the tour, we went by our favorites to pick up some goodies for the trip home. I would recommend this to any local or tourist!

Brilliant group activity for first time New Yorkers - walk, talk, eat: no better way to spend your day!

This was our 2nd food tour for my sister and me...Chelsea Market with Curt was the first and I didn't think they could get any better...Boy, was I wrong!! Marie was our tour guide..She is bright, funny and so full of information!! The restaurants and shops were so warm and welcoming..especially Lydia at Little Havana...she seemed genuinally happy to have us invade her little space...I can't wait to return and eat my way down Cornelia St.!! I especially like the small group sizes so that you don't feel like a tourist and the feel is personal..A truly wonderful way to see and learn about New York, whether a native or visitor!! My mother and I have both been to New York and Greenwich Village, but we wanted to really get to know parts of the city better than just walking around and reading a travel guide. My mother had several friends who had recommended this tour and we are so glad they did! Our experience was amazing! I think what makes a tour enjoyable is not only where you are and what you see, but also who guides you through the tour. Sephrah was our tour gude and she was AMAZING. Not only did we get to visit places more intimately than anyone else, but she provided so much information in a funny and exciting manner that it was hard not to hang onto her every word. Her first hand experience with all of the restaurants, streets and sights made the tour fabulous. She truly made the tour enjoyable and one I would recommend to all of my friends because of the professional, fun and caring manner she exuded while leading us around the village. She even helped my mother and I buy cheese and snacks after the tour! That is something that will always be remembered. The restaurants and other venues we saw were excellent and the learning experience was one I'll never forget. I now know so much information about Greenwich Village that I've already begun sharing with my friends. Knowing details about where you are really makes you appreciate the culture and history of where you're standing in that moment. This tour encompassed all of those details and knowledge. All in all, I'd recommend this tour to any of my friends and family. It gets my 5 stars. It is an experience I was able to share with my mother and that will live in my memories forever.

Our group of 4 were delighted with the tour taken on Friday, 10-23-09, noon. Sephra (not sure of spelling) was a very fun and knowledgeable guide. The 3 hours went by very quickly. The restaurants were all very accommodating as well. We would recommend this tour to any newcomer to New York.

We had a great time on the tour. Guide was very knowledgable, having lived in the area. Seven stops had great food and we learned a lot about the history of the area, as well as restaurants we did not stop at.. Would definitely take another food tour in New York.
