| We unfortunately were not able to come in to NYC to go on the Greenwich Village food tasting tour. We were extremely disappointed in paying for and missing the event, since we had heard such great things about the tour.

| Our guide Cindy was fun and enegetic but I got the idea sometimes that we had paid to hear commercials for the shop/restaurant owners. Need to hear more history. The Bento box was delicious and a good value to have included as well as the snacks from Murray's cheese shop. The cookie from Milk N Cookies was big and tasty but a little over cooked. The pizza was terrible, though. No flavor or spices and skimpy sauce & cheese - Domino's is better. Choose another pizza place ! We had fun, though, and would take another tour with her. Besides, the only way to get my husband to take walking tours is to promise him food ! |

| We brought family from overseas on the tour and we all enjoyed walking around the village and stopping for something wonderful to eat along the way. As visitors from New Jersey, we not only enjoyed the day, we have learned about lots of wonderful new shops and restaurants as well as entertainment close to home. Can't wait to go back! |

| I took this tour on a rainy afternoon in late August, and there wasn't one single thing that I didn't like about it. The tour leader was knowledgeable, interesting, entertaining, enthusiastic, and friendly, and all the stops were GREAT. I was amazed at the amount of food served, as well -- I never expected to be skipping dinner that night, but I did. And each one of the food shops we visited were welcoming and delicious, as well as unique and informative to the Greenwich Village area. Our guide showed us interesting historical sites as well as food sites, and she basically presented a total immersion experience in Greenwich Village. I take walking tours in every city I visit (and I travel a LOT) and I would rate this tour right up there with the best I've been on. |

| My husband and I took this tour while taking a trip to NYC. This was probably one of the best things we have ever done on a vacation. Not only do you get to taste great foods from Greenwich Village, you also learn about the history of it and visit some beautiful areas. We went back two other nights to places that were recommended during the tour. This is a must do! |

| Living on Long Island my entire life and of course, frequently going to NYC, I never realized this jewel of an area existed in the Village. I sometimes could not believe we were in the city at all. All of the area foods were delicious and wonderfully presented. Our tour guide was well informed and kept our interest the whole time.
What a uniquely delightful experience. |

| I recently have done 2 food tours through this company, the first was one in Chicago and this was the 2nd. Both were extremely excellent tours and I would recommend these to anyone who is willing to sample something new. The tour is 3 hrs long and is all walking, but you are constantly either eating or learning about the city around you. The tour guides are excellent and very enthusiastic. The tour is very intimate and they make a point of individually interacting with everyone on the tour.
The main difference between the two tours was the amount of food. You are given whole servings and meals, but the Greenwich tour has a lot more little places, ie you sample cheese, cookies and candies. It is also more spread out through the tour and is very well paced. You feel full at the end, but it's a comfortable, content fullness.
:) I will be taking these again when I travel to another city. |

| My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Greenwich Village. Our tour guide, Kirk, made the tour lots of fun with his enthusiasm and his accute knowledge of all the little "secret spots". The food tastings were awesomely good and the samples were more then adequate' as most of us were busting by the end of the tour wondering if we could eat another thing!
While I had been in Greenwich Village many times before this was like seeing it for the first time.
Don't miss this tour, and definately see if Kirk can be your guide. He is as much fun as the tour with his humourous comments and quips. |
