We have been on the Greenwich Village tour twice and the Chelsea Market tour once and we are still learning about the great things the neighborhoods have to offer and each tour guide has his own unique tidbits to offer. We are in Northern New Jersey and bring all of our family visitors (all from out of state) to take the tour. Let us know when you add more. We'd love to be the first to try them out!! |

| I feel like I know so much about Greenwich Village after taking this tour--not just the food, but the history as well. Our group came back the next evening and ate a delicious dinner at Palma. Our guide, Michael, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. This tour was the highlight of our 4 days in NYC. |

| It was a wonderful New York experience. My husband and I were there for his 50th class reunion from New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. We learned about the tour from some friends of ours who were visiting us from Sweden and I found it on the internet and ordered our tickets before we left home, which is Kansas. We would highly recommend it to anyone -- our tour guide was very good -- the food we tasted was outstanding and we have a new appreciation for Greenwich Village -- we would do it again! |

| Wonderful and insightful. It provided as much history as it did food info. A great mix that could have lasted longer. There was no way we could get bored. The guide was very informed about the topic. |

| As a new resident of New York, this gave me a unique opportunity to explore the place where I would be living. The variety of food was great (especially the Cannollis!) and the history was even better. The information was extremely useful and I have gone back to many of the restaurants already! Thanks for a fabulous time! |

| Our guide, Michael, was wonderful, very welcoming and made you feel like a freind being shown around, rather than someone on a tour. He was knowledgebale, genuinely interested in the area, and you knew he had a life time of experience around there. It was wonderful that passers-by stopped to say hello, that people called out to him from across the street, this was a guy who KNEW the area, and the area knew him. He gave us his personal thoughts, as well as those of his colleagues, on all the places around Greenwich Village, which encouraged us to go back the following nights for a bite and a drink, and we were comfortable with our choices, knowing these places were preferred by locals. We also received a history lesson which was wonderful, at times it truly felt like being taken back into another time, you could imagine life there 50, 80, 100 + years ago.
The food we were given as a taster was magnificent, and I got to try some new delicacies. Next time I'm in New York, I hope to stay in greenwich, and be able to experience more of the delights in the area - I'll be keeping the handout for reference!
We came to know about this tour from family/friends, and I will definitely be recommending it to others - in fact I already did!
ps. can you tell Michael that the jazzclub mentioned by the 2 Australian girls is called The Zipper Theatre 336 West 37 |

| We would highly recommend the Greenwich Food Tour. It was fun, informative and when it was over, we felt like we 'personally knew' the Village well and we traveled back to it 2 more times to visit some more shops and eat dinner at 2 of the restaurants on the tour, which were fabulous. Oh - and of course the incredible bakeries!! No matter how many times you visited the Village, you would miss out on SO much if you didn't do the tour! |
