I did this tour in July with my husband and when I returned to NY in Oct with friends I had raved about it so much that they wanted to do it too. Of course it was fine with me. The food was plentiful and delicious, the scenery and info were amazing but what made it for us was our tour guide Curt. I was lucky enough to have him on both tours and would do it again in a heartbeat. His enthusiasm was infectious and his knowledge second to none. This is a must do tour for anyone traveling to New York |

What a great way to have some relaxed, unhurried, and educational fun in New York. We learned a ton about the history of New York and Greenwich Village. Even better, we learned juicy tidbits about who's who and what's what in New York. And the real estate prices! If you're from the Midwest, you will appreciate living in fly-over country once you learn of the insane prices these city folks pay for rent. Our tour guide (Kurt?) was a gem. Loved him! He was the icing on the cake. Great food samples along the way. Ladies, do not eat lunch before you go. Will defnitely do another one of these tours again. No exaggeration: One of the highlights of our trip to NY. |

What a tour! I brought my mom to NY for both our 1st visit to this amazing city. I am so glad we did this tour, about halfway through the tour I was already trying to book another tour to visit another area of NY but they were all sold out. Of course they were, they're fantastic. Kurt our tour guide was heaps of fun, extremely knowledgeable and led us through Greenwich on a great journey through an amazing neighborhood. It was nice to learn more about the history and culture of Greenwich as well as taste the delicious food this hot spot has to offer. Many artisans here (John's pizza, Joe's pizza, Murray's cheese shop, milk & cookies) to name a few. Thank u for a wonderful experience! |

I had a wonderful time on the food tour. Our guide, Marie, was friendly and very informative. I really enjoyed all the food but I wish we had more time at each stop to do a little shopping and I was dissapointed we didn't even get to go inside Murray's cheese shop. The only place I wasn't impressed by was the restaurant we stopped in for the sit down tasting. The food wasn't even descibed by the waiters, it wasn't very good, the bartender was unfriendly and the drinks were exceptionally overpriced. The FANTASTIC cookies at Milk & Cookies cheered me right up though :) Similarly the pizza was some of NYs finest and O&co was delicious, informative and fun. More stores should be as welcoming and interesting as O&co. I don't think I was the only member of my group to feel that way as more than half of us headed straight there after the tour was over to make purchases. |

My friend was so enthusiastic about this tour that I decided to book it before we left home (New Zealand). It was great! The tour guide was fun and full of information, humour and energy. We learned about the food, the cultures and the area all with a friendly and inclusive approach. It was an easy walk and we felt full of all the little nibbles we had sampled along the way. This was more than just a food tour, we felt that we had been given an insight into the history, way of life and flavours of Greenwich Village. Don't miss it! |

There were 9 of us and we joined about 8 other people for our tour. We were so impressed with Kurt our guide, not only for his overall enthusiasm and knowledge, but we are still in awe of his talent for remembering everyone's name with one go!!! We had a beautifully sunny day, which helped the comfort of walking around outdoors, but most of the time we were in and out of great little restaurants or shops. Pizza, mac & cheese, olive oil, posh italian, cheese, canoli... definitely plenty of food to fill us up. Kurt was a mine of information on the food and the local area. Would definitely recommend this to others. |
