| My husband and I did this tour last summer and we thought our kids (19, 17, 15 and 7) would enjoy it, too. Thankfully, they did- two said it was their favorite thing we did over the weekend and all agreed it was fun. There is a lot of walking but it is at a leisurely pace, stopping for delicious bites and bits of history of Greenwich Village. The tour guide (Curt) was very personable and even though my husband and I had taken the tour last summer, Curt's tour was quite different. These are not cookie-cutter tours, and they're not advertisements for the businesses we visited. The guides know the people in the neighorhood and you really get a feeling for what it's like to live there. I feel it is absolutely worth the money to have a personalized tour so you know what you're looking at.
Curt was most accommodating to all the people on the tour, and was very sweet to my little girl- speaking to her by name and complimenting her for trying all the foods.
After the tour and before we left New York Sunday night for home, we went back to Bruno's twice for dessert, Aphrodisia twice for gift purchases, ate dinner at Trattoria Pesce Pasta and had a drink at Chumley's.
My main advice for anyone going on the tour is COME HUNGRY because you will have a lot of food on the tour. We had pizza; cannolis; rice balls; cheese and olives; chocolate chip cookies; apricot pastries; Turkish sandwiches and more.

| My mom and i had a blast! Very good food, lots of tips and info about where to go and what to do. The best part though was our guide Kurt- he was wonderful. So knowledgeable, but also very aware of each individual participant. He made sure everyone felt included and taken care of. We're going to try the Meatpacking one next! |

| My wife, daughter and myself had our heart set on going to New York and going to see "The Lion King". We did that....and it was great....but the "Greenwich Village Food Tasting and Cultural Tour" was the highlight of our weekend....by far! We would recommend it highly to anyone who has an interest in people, history and great food. We experienced a perfect mix of all three! |

| Extraordinary info, food and TOUR GUIDE!! Will recommend as a must do event when in NYC. Even the 2 teenagers in our group raved about it. Loads of interesting information and history. Will use the information learned on future visits. Mike C. was Mr. Eloquent. Even if he has said those words a million times, he presented the information to us as if we were the only ones to receive the tour. He is a gem and made the tour priceless!! Loved his interaction with the other Villagers. A lifetime memory! |

| This tour stands out as one of our best memories of NYC. Our guide was knowledgeable on all aspects of Greenwich Village and provided us with so many "insider tips" and trivia. The food was delicious and the tastings more than adequate to fill us up! Thank you for such a great experience - I am already recommending this tour to my friends! |

| My sister-in-law (in her early twenties) and I (in my mid-thirties) both loved this tour! She lives in Manhattan and I was visiting from Texas. The tour was interesting and informative to both of us--she who had been to the Village before and me who had never been. The food was diverse enough to allow us to try some foods we hadn't tried before yet mingled with some good old favorites--the pizza at the #28 restaurant was fabulous!! It definitely introduced us to restaurants that we want to go back to again. Can't wait for my next visit to do the Chelsea tour. |

| Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned alot and had great fun doing it. The length of the tour was just right. We went back to several of the merchants after the tour and they were friendly and helpful - as promised.
The food was good and we had plenty for a nice lunch. The variety of the food was good too. I only wish we could have had a place to sit for the cheese and olives - it would have been refreshing.
The trip to "Chumley's" was the highlight for me. I'm reading a mystery novel and it mentioned "Chumley's."
We have wandered around Greenwich Village before on our own, but we didn't know what to look for.
Thanks for a great experience.

| We really enjoyed the tour of the Village, tasting the food from the locals favourite eateries and learning about the neighborhood's history and character. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. |
