This is a fun way to get to know about the area. The walking is not too strenuous; there's lots of stopping along the way for some really great food. We saw lots of small out of the way places that we'd like to go back to. Definitely would do this again.

Enjoyed the information provided by our tour guide. Enjoyed the tastings. Wish we had more time in New York to further explore some of the restaurants discussed. We would recommend it to others traveling in the area but suggest they do the tour earlier in their stay so they would have time to try some of the establishments discussed.

Alls I can say is I wish I could live in "The Village", I love to cook and eat out and there is something for everyone here. The tour was very informative and the food was fantastic! I need Murray's Cheese shop next door to me! Go on this tour and have fun...a must do in NYC.

| Not even the rain could put a damper on us during the tour. The information was thorough, the sights beautiful, and of course the food was DELICIOUS!!!!!!! We even changed our original dinner plans to a restaurant we learned of on the tour. We had a fantastic dinner at a place we would have never thought to go. I highly recommend this tour to foodies and non-foodies alike!

This tour was a great addition to our trip to New York! The tastings were great, but the neighborhood tidbits and historical information were even better! This was a great way to spend an afternoon, and get to see a section of the city we were interested in knowing more about. It poured rain on our tour, and it was still definately one of our trip highlights!

My friend and I took the tour of Greenwich Village and were very impressed with everything! Our tour guide was wonderful; very friendly and knowledgable. The establishments we visited all were very welcoming to our group and the food we were given was varied, fresh, and delicious! We also received plentiful servings and by the end of the tour we were stuffed! We loved learning the history of the area and seeing the different parts of it. Really interested to learn about the "back houses" in Greenwich Village, and all other things that we learned and saw on the tour. I'd recommend this tour to everyone I know who plans on visiting New York.

We are a party of 4 from Long Island, NY. We are lifelong New Yorkers but we wanted to try the food of Greenwich Village since most Long Islanders don't necessarily trek downtown. The food was very good. The merchants were hospitable. We could have done without the tour of the buildings. Maybe a small bus to drive us around would have helped in the rain. The tour guide was fun, helpful and knowledgeable. The tour started and ended on time.
