| What a wonderful way to see a distinct New York neighborhood. The food combined with history made the day special. Michael's view as a member of the community made it feel like I was visiting an old friend and walking the neighborhood. |

| my adult daughter & i thoroughly enjoyed the tour. some might think mike goes into too much detail, but i found his intimate knowledge of the area, its history, and the people now living there, to be a terrific attribute, and enormously informative and entertaining.
i would recommend the tour, and when i return, will probably take it again. |

| To the casual tourist Greenwich VIllage is just another quaint Bohemian theme park neighborhood in the middle of a great urban center. This tour offered a peek into the cultural history of the area which shaped it. In addition we were exposed to restaurants and stores we would have never discovered on our own. Our guide was full of stories and antidotes that brought depth and understanding to what were were seeing. Now, instead of thinking Greenwich VIllare is a theme park, I now know what most New Yorkers already know; Greenwich Village is a national treasure!

| What a great way to see a part of NYC that I did not know much about! Our tour guide was very charming and knowledgeable, and provided us with lots of information about the Village. All the food stops were wonderful - we were completely stuffed afterward and did not eat until much later that evening! We can't wait to do take another walking and tasting tour on our next trip to NYC. |

| Our tour guide, Mike, was very familiar with the area, the buildings and knew most of the individuals walking on the street. We got to see more than we expected, and loved the historical comments Mike made about the buildings, homes, and restaurants on the tour. The food was fabulous and we can't wait to do it again! |

| My friend and I had visited Greenwich Village before but felt we'd not got to the heart of the district before. The guide was very informative, friendly and relaxed - a real character in fact. The food we tasted along the way was very diverse and the shopkeepers very interested in explaining things to us. Sometimes on tours you really feel like a tourist, but this one was different and as well as the food, we gathered some very interesting architectural facts along the way. |

| I took this tour on a whim and was so glad that I did. I have been to New York many times before but have never explored the Greenwich Village area which is why I signed up for the tour. I was so glad that I did. Cindy (our guide) was fantastic. She was so knowledgable and friendly. All the employees in the different places we went into were happy to see her and it was very evident she has a great love for the area. i would recommend this tour to anyone going to New York. |

| I enjoyed the review not only for the tasting and exploration of restaurants but for the history of the region. I found the host well informed, funny, observant( in watching out for us and making sure everyone kept together and had the opportunity of tasting) and did not take himself too seriously.
For suggestions on how to improve:
1) I found the last eating place at a Kebab outlet out of place with the rest of the tour.
2) Perhaps make it shorter to 2 hours.
3) Include a meal - which would raise the cost though
Overall I would recommend it to food lovers. |
