The food and cultural tour was the highlight of the NY City visit. Barri (the tour guide) did an excellent job mixing descriptions of the neighborhood, the restaurants and specialty shops, and the subtleties of the food.
The selection of tastings was appropriate for the neighborhood. Especially memorable was the olive oil, the pizza samples, and the canoli sample. |

The food was wonderful and plentiful. The guide was enthusiastic and well informed. We went back to Greenwich the next day to shop and and have brunch.
I am recommending it to everyone I know! |

The food tasting/cultural tour of Greenwich Village was truly an enjoyable experience. Our tour guide, Ed, made it all very interesting and the places we visited were a culinary delight. I would do it again.

OUR TOUR GUIDE WAS FULL OF KNOWLAGE AND VERY GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES. MY SISTRES AND I ARE FROM A ITALIAN BACKGROUND, AND ENJOYED EVERY MIN. OF THIS TOUR. I WILL GO BACK TO GREENWICH VILLAGE THE NEXT TIME I AM IN THE CITY TO SHOP AT THESE GREAT SHOPS . THANK YOU. |

We had the most wonderful time ever. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the city. All of the food was delicious. We never felt rushed and there were plenty of stops for the restroom. One person in our group has MS and walks with a cane. We were a little worried that she wouldn't have anywhere to sit and that she might not be able to keep up with the tour. We were very pleased at how she was able to take small breaks and our guide did not walk so fast that we could not keep up. We loved it so much we are thinking of doing another walking food tour next year. Thanks a million!!! |

This was a fun, different kind of thing to do when visiting the city. Plenty to eat, wasn't hungry the rest of the day. Our guide was entertaining and informative. Just the right mix of history, tourism and food. Another group of friends did the Chelsea tour, which I will definitely do next year when visiting. |

Our tour guide was wonderful. She was energetic, helpful, informative and entertaining. The cultural aspect of the tour was as fun and interesting as the food aspect. I was surprised that I liked the Thai chicken noodle dumplings and the rice ball. Neither one are items I ever would have eaten on my own. If I return to New York, I would strongly consider signing up for either the same tour if I was with my husband or a different food tour if I returned with my daughter. |

I was very pleased with the tour. The tour guide was outstanding and she provided the perfect mix of history and current information (i.e suggestions and recommendations)! The length of the tour (3 hours) was just right with the right amount of stops for everyone. The food provided was great and more than enough to satisfy my lunch requirements. The tour within the area provided a great variety of interests and was certainty a great introduction to the restaurants, shops and historical sites within Greenwich Village. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone as a good starting point to visiting that area so that they would find specific places for further visits, shopping and dining. This was the first time I used FoodTours and I will certainly recommend it to my friends and family and plan to use other tours provided by FoodTours in other areas of New York in the future. |

Ed was a terrific guide. After the tour , my brother and I returned to several of the shops to purchase items. I liked the historical info as well. A friend suggested the tour to me and I will certainly recoomend it to others. |

Great way to get to know Greenwich Village and the local restaurants. Our guide, Mr. Ed, did a terrific job filling us in on local history, happenings in the area and answering questions. The food was great and I'd recommend it to anyone - tourist and local alike. |
