I've been on food tours where the tour guide gives their usual tour and throws in a few snacks. Happily, this one was mostly about the food. And the food was good. I was surprised that we didn't get further afield but there's enough in those few blocks to keep you eating for a week.

Very nice tour guide. Too bad on a Monday some of the restaurants were closed, fun anyway,

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

The visit to the spices shop was disappointing though and not up to the standard of the other venues. We took advantage of the many recommendations of restaurants as we went on the tour at the start of our holiday. Will tell our friends and family in Australia that the tour is a must when they visit NY.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The food was great and we learned a lot about the area. Our tour guide was fantastic. Her name is Sephra, (not sure of the spelling).

I had a great time on my food tour of Greenwich Village! My guide had so much enthusiasm and connected well with the entire group. She had our best interests at heart and was so kind to provide us with extra "heavy duty" napkins! I loved learning about the different restaurants and finding out where I need to eat next.

Barri our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The food choices were a bit too heavily weighted on breads, pizza, and italian selections. But all in all the quality of the food was impressive and the historical facts presented were most impressive. Did the Central Village Soho tour two days before and found it to be much better in terms of variety of foods offered and variety of ethnic options offered (indian, cuban, italian etc) If you want to experience the "real" NYC you need to do one of these tours. You will learn about eateries that you would normally pass by. Eat where the locals eat and really feel a part of the city. Soak up the culture. We went back for dinner at a restaurant that was highlighted on the tour and it exceeded our expecations-some of the freshest food we have eaten. These tours are the real deal. You must try it!!!

| The Tour Guide was great. I was a little worried going in that there would not be enough food, however at the end of the tour both myself and my girlfriend were stuffed.
Overall I highly recommend this experience. So fun and some great information too! |

We had a terrific experience on the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking tour a few years ago, and chose the Greenwich Village tour last weekend. It was the highlight of our weekend in New York. Great guide, stories, and delicious/plentiful food. Looking forward to the Soho tour on our next visit. Great job!!

The tour really gave us a nice glimpse of Greenwich Village, which we had never been to before. We went to places that I would never thought of going on my own, but now I'm glad to know about them. The tastings were excellent and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. I will definitely look into other Zerve tours!
