I grew up in NY, and even I loved this tour! I learned a ton of history about the neighborhood, and found some of the most amazing gourmet shops, and best restaurants! I would have never come across these places on my own. The tastings were incredible! One was better than the other. My husband and I were *stuffed* by the final stop on the tour. Some of my favorite tastings included Italian pastries, NY's best pizza by the slice, Greek olive oil tasting, cheese tasting, fresh chocolate chip cookies, Italian rice balls and Thai chicken dumplings. There were more tastings, but those were my favs. I took this tour in April, and cannot wait to go back to NY in June. I will be going back to try some of the amazing restaurants our tour guide Kurt recommended AND I will be taking the Chelsea/Meatpacking Tour as well. |

I really enjoyed the tour as it was a small, friendly group and it gave us great ideas of where was good to eat in the area. Would advise you to go with an appetite! |

We had a great tour guide who was able to personalize the tour, and give us a well rounded experience. You could tell you were given more information then she had from her script, and she made special stops that she thought the tour might like.
As for the food, I was very happy with the portion sizes- ( a whole slice of pizza as opposed to a little sample), and also with the variety and quality of everything I tried. I would definitely recommend this tour to first time and frequent NYC visitors. |

This was my first trip to New York and after reading several guide books we decided to book the Greenwich Village Food Tour. I'm so glad we did. It was a fantastic morning and we really loved all of the stops along the way - we even went back to a few during our holiday! It was also interesting to get a bit of the history of the area while we were walking around and we felt that it was a great start to our trip. |

We took the tour after it was recommedned to us by friends and from the moment the first slice of pizza passed our lips we knew we were on to a winner. Each stop offered a different taste of the Village ( no scrimping on portions either!!) and left you wanting more. Where else can you learn about the history of an area whilst savouring the many different foods on offer.
The guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable and made the tour that extra bit special. As a result of one of her many recommendations we returned the following day to a restuarant, Home, and had a fantastic meal.
We can't wait to return to NYC and will certainly be taking on of the other tours on offer. 10/10....Allan & Michelle |

This tour was the highlight of our trip to New York. We thought we were just going to get "bites" of various foods, but nooooooooooo-- everything we sampled was portion sized. Come hungry! And it's all delicious.
Our guide, Amy, was terrific. It's obvious that she has passion for her work. She was very down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and a delight to get to know.
All in all, a tremendous value at the price we paid. We'd recommend this without reservation to anyone, and we will be recommending it to all our friends who travel to New York.
BIG THANKS! |

The group was mixed with family, couples from the US, Israel and us from Muenster, Germany. We had a very enthusiastic guide who was able to give us a mix of informations concerning architecture, food, history and even famous people living in Greenwich Village. Though the tour was three hours long it was never boring and always fun to follow the routes, tales and stories. Our questions were answered as good as possible and at the end of the day we knew almost everything about Greenwich Village! During our one week stay in NYC we came back several times and even had a hole pizza from Joe`s Pizza! Very yummy! |
