Enjoy great food and history in Greenwich Village

| I have gone on the tour twice--the first time I went with my daughters and enjoyed it so much that I encouraged my husband to go when we visited New Your again. My guides both times--Barrie (sp?) and Sephra were outstanding. I enjoyed both the food and historic part of it. I did a similar tour in Boston, but this was 1 hour longer and the amount of food we received was substantially more. All the food was delicious. I liked it that the food reflected the neighborhood. Also, we received some tips about restaurants that we returned to that although not in any of the books, were gems. Stopping at the wine bar midpoint provided a good rest. This tour we stopped at Palma's for a food tasting which we did not do the first time and it was fantastic. I liked going to Palma's because it was a restaurant and added something different in addition to the shops we stopped in. Thanks for a great experience. |

| Our tour guide provided interesting info on the neighborhood and encouraged an easy atmosphere. The food was excellent!! We now feel comfortable with visiting the village on our own and with choosing a great place to go out to eat. We can't wait to go back! |

| My husband, myself and our 16 year old daughter went on this tour (Greenwich Village Food Tasting & Cultural Tour) with a little skepticism ~ too "touristy" ~ but honestly, it was one of the best things we have done in NYC in a long time! We went to parts of The City that you don't often get to and what's more, we learned a lot of NYC history along the way. To make it even better, we ate at some AMAZING places! There were 35 places pointed out on the tour and we were able to sample at 8 of them. Do not think the samples are slight tastes to tempt your palette ~ they were pretty good portions at every stop! The brochure was absolutely true ~ no need to eat lunch after the tour, we were full! And we have since done some ordering & shipping from some of the stops on the tour! Next time we go we are going to do the Chelsea Market & Meat Packing District Tour. Can't Wait! |

| I've been twice and have had very good and entertaining guides on both occasions. I live in Atlanta, which does not have much of the neighborhood charms and retail locations that Greenwich Village has. It is a worthwhile thing to do when visiting New York. My only real complaint is that, as an active male who likes to eat, I wish that there were more food offerings this time around. My first time to do the tour, back in 2002, I felt more satisfied with the food offerings, and I'm pretty sure there was more heavy food on that tour. But if I had eaten breakfast, it probably would have been just right. |

| I discovered old Greenwich Village on this tour - along with some of its finest foods. Our guide, Sephra, was fantastic. She's very engaging and knowledgeable and made the tour a delight. The food was fantastic, and the booklet you receive with recommended stores and restaurants is full of great information. I high recommend this tour!!! |

| We had never done anything like this before but thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We had lots of good food, more than we could eat and the guide was very knowledgeable about the area. |
