| We LOVED the Greenwich Village tour! It was so much fun to check out the little neighborhood foods, restaurants & businesses that you might never otherwise see while in NYC. There are so many big, commercialized things to see in NYC, but the really great things are the ones that only the locals know about - the real jewels of the Big Apple. I would absolutely recommend this tour & would totally do it again myself. WELL WORTH IT! |

| The guide was amazing! He wasn't so full of himself as other guides often are. He was quite knowledgeable and did everything to make us feel comfortable despite the fact that it poured the entire 3 hours of the tour! The food was delicious and varied. The history and architecture was extremely interesting and we had a wonderful time! |

| The tour guide seemed to know less about the food than I did. She didn't give any real history or interesting information about the food. Also, the whole thing was too much of a shill for local restaurants. I wanted to learn about various foods that were common in the Greenwich Village area and I didn't feel that happened.
I think the architectural part of the tour would've been better if it hadn't been raining, so that wasn't the tour guide's fault. |

| We went on the Walking Tour of Greenwich Village. We had a wonderful time. Our guide, Marie, was fantastic. She was pleasant and well informed. She gave us a lot of little tidbits on our tour. The businesses we visited were fun and welcoming. We were able to experience each business by the samples that they gave us. It was truly a treat. We highly recommend this tour and look forward to return trips to New York and other tours. |

| My son and I were concerned that a heavy rain would diminish major features of the tour. It did not. In spite of heavy rain, we visited each of the locations. We had unbrellas, but our tour guide provided rain ponchos for those who did not. The tour guide was pleasant, informed, enthusiastic about her job, and attentive to the questions and interests of a diverse group. An extremely valuable feature of the tour is that the food establishments we visited (especially some small restaurants and shops to which I was introduced) will, in several instances, be experiences I will revisit. I visit New York twice a year. Because of my experience on this tour, I plan to schedule other Verve tours on my future visits. |

| We had the greatest time on this tour. We enjoyed the walk about the village discovering the wonderful shops and restaurants, as well as the tastings. Our tour guide was a wealth of information, not only about the food, but also on the history of the neighborhood. He was very entertaining, and we learned things about food, history, architecture, and popular culture. GREAT!! |

| My fiance and I set out to the Village for our three-hour tour. It was his birthday, and our second trip to New York together. We were last there in March, when we did another tour of the village (pub crawl). We enjoyed that one as well, but not half so much as the Food Tour on Thursday, May 14.
Michael, our tour guide was well informed about the local colour, history and neighborhood. His presentation was fun and unstaged, with a hint of improvisation as the many artists and characters from the neighborhood came to pay us a visit.
The group was a good, intimate size, and in spite of the neighborhood noise and bustle, we had no trouble hearing our guide. Our tourguide in March was sometimes a challenge to hear.
We ate very well during, and also after the tour. We were given a very helpful brochure with coupons to try some gelato and NY wines, which we did the next day.
The map inside the brochure, and the other coupons helped us to find our way back to all the great places, AND we brought a friend. We also placed our order for the wonderful oils, balsamicos and other goodies from O & Co, and visited the Street Festival that one of the artists told us about.
We whole heartedly recommend this tour, and look forward to visiting the area again next year. Thanks to another recommendation by our tour guide, we are planning to stay in the village next time, to visit and revisit all the neat places and learn more about the history in the area. |

| Michael was a great tour guide, we got fabulous tastings that were bountiful and a great representation of the area. I would have just shown up to Greenich Village and missed out on so much if we hadnt taken this tour. Michael was so quirky/fun and very very knowledgable of the area, it's past, and it's culture. We even came back on Saturday to eat the some of the places again, and felt like a local. |
