Our guide was very knowledgable and gave a lot of color when touring the neighborhood. The tastings were plentiful and delicious. I live in New York but learned things I didn't know. My boyfriend and his 13 year old daughter also had a great time. They are European and it was interesting to see/taste/hear about the European influences. Highly recommended for all ages. |

I had heard of the tour while watching food network as an alternative way to explore the villiage and we were NOT disapointed! My boyfriend and I met my parents in New York for a lond weekend and they had never been to the city. We were blown away with the knowledge of the guide and the amount of history we learned while visiting the villiage from a different view. The food was great and well spread out so you could savor each item before moving on to the next food item. It was damp and cold when we went but we bundled up and had a great time! I would reccomend this to anyone! |

Our guide,Susan was great! The cheese shop, pastries, olive oil shop. thai restaurant, deli's, pizza shops, and tour of the streets combined with a bit of history were great. We managed to go to Le Gigot that night and it was a lovely meal. At O and Co. I ordered olive oils and a balsamic vinegar that are fantastic, to be shipped home later.. What a difference and well worth the money. I have recommended this tour to friends and the guide book is great for the next time we visit. I want to try a different food tour next time. I am a vegetarian and was well taken care of at all the stops where food was served. Highly recommend it. |

We had a great time due to our personable guide. She knew interesting historical facts about Greenwich Village. She was fun and had first hand knowledge of the best places to eat since she had lived there. She was friendly and accommodating. I worried the pace would be difficult for me but on the contrary, the walking was relaxing and we stopped to sit a few times for tasting food. We also took time after the tour to go back to shop for some Italian specialties. Since I was lucky enough to share this with family members, I will have special memories of a fabulous day. |

Our tour guide was friendly and enormously knowledgeable about the area, history, where to go, what to do. We enjoyed our day, the food, learning where we can go next time we come back to enjoy the village on our own. The recommended parking was terrific, relatively inexpensive for NYC, and so close to the tour. We couldn't recommend any changes because it was great! |

Kirk was a great guide! You are lucky to have him. I wish I had taken notes, he shared much more that I could remember. The pace was easy, which was good for me since I'm not in great shape. Most of the food samples were very good. But I did wish we had had something a little more adventuresome at Murry's! (Also, little critism - Kirk compareed the Piave to Romano when it is really more closely related to a not so aged parm reggiano). I returned to O&O where I spent too much money because they offered "free" shipping, But the prices were so high I know they didn't loose much GP off me! And I returned to Cornielia Cafe for coffee and to rest and read before moving on to walk up to the Celsea Market. I used the coupon at Jaques Torres for a very very small sample of Hot Chocolate, But I bought a full size one and a box of chocolate. And returned Cornielia St Cafe to hang out at the bar. (Where I shared a drink with the owner!) And went to thier 8:30 show. All in all I had a great day which was certainly jump started by your tour. I would resommend this tour to anyone. Thank-you. |

What a great time we had! At the beginning of the tour, our guide, Curt Upton, took the time to learn each of our names. During the three hours, he shared his knowledge and enthusiasm about the food, the history and the people in the neighborhood. He did so with a great sense of humor and a sparkle in his eye. The food that we sampled on this tour was out of this world. We re-visited a couple of the shops at the conclusion of the tour and brought home a bag of goodies. I am very anxious to try your other food tours in the city. Thank you for a top-notch, most enjoyable experience which I have already recommended to many of my friends. And the guides don't get any better than Curt Upton. Kudos! |

Our guide, Michael, was very informative about the Village, seemed to know everyone! My only suggestion is, because of the street noise, he needs to talk louder. If I wasn't standing right next to him, which was impossible in a group of 16, I missed some of his narrative. I got a real feel of life in this very unique part of town. I felt the tastings were very sufficient for lunch; I was full at the end! I would go again! |

Our guide, Mike, has lived in the Village for over 40 years and seems to know everyone and every food purveyor (store and restaurant) in the neighborhood. He has a wealth of historical knowledge and great stories about the old days and present goings on. When they say you probably won't want lunch afterwards, that's an understatement! A great variety of wonderful "best in NY" eats and some terrific "behind-the-scenes" peeks. Tours don't get any better than this. |
