Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

What a great way to sample great food and see hidden pockets of New York!

i was from out of town and had never been to NYC the people who came on the tour with me were all friends who lived in NY- all of us loved it. The food was amazing - DO NOT EAT BEFORE you go becuase you really get a lot of food. There is ALOT OF WALKING wear comfortable shoes and dont bring alot of stuff you need to carry. This is a really fun tour - ask questions enjoy everywhere that you go and take lots of photos. We had a great time and can't wait to go back and go on another tour. Thank you so much it was a BLAST

My family and I had a great time! The food was delicious. My favorite was the rice ball from Faicco's, I can still taste it in my mouth. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends. Also Marie the tour guide was great. She taught me a lot about the area it is a very interesting place. We loved the area so much we are making plans with friends to go and have dinner at one of the restaurants. Thank you for the experience.

The food tour was great. We got a nice history lesson about Greenwich Village, and the food portions and choices were great. Overall however, our guide Sephrah, really made the experience enjoyable. Her knowledge in food and the area was fantastic, but it was her approachability and sense of humour that made it fantastic. Thanks and keep up the awesome work!

Took the tour last week - early August 2012. It was fantastic: the food we tasted was a great variety of the neighborhood - from pizza, cheese, oils, eclectic, sweets, etc. Our tour guide BURT was the best. He was oh so knowledgeable about the neighborhood , housing, business, history & residents. His humor and depth of knowledge made the tour top notch.The only negative was that it was a very hot day - BUT, the our guide made sure he kept us in the shade as much as possible. The next time I am in NYC, I will take another tour - seriously.

Great tour. Nice to get away from all the touristy stuff. Greenwich village was great and tour helped us appreciate the area. Plenty of food... no need to eat lunch before. Even though it's a walking tour... the area you tour is very compact so it's actually not that much walking. Went with my sisters during a "girls weekend"... would highly recommend it. We are already talking about which tour we should do on our next trip to NYC!
