| Get off the double-deck buses and get away from the tourist areas. Walk and learn about New York neighborhoods through the local restaurants. Immerse yourself in the real New York and you will get a more enriched experience. I highly recommend doing this kind of tour as the FIRST thing you do on your trip; that way you can return to a restaurant or neighborhood later on that intrigued or impressed you. |

| Had a great experience with Marie as our guide. Highly recommend this tour to others and wish we would have had time to do another. Do allow enough time to wander around the area after the tour and have lunch/snacks/shopping time at some of the locations. |

| Curt, our exceptional, informative, entertaining, comical guide did a wonderful job sharing a slice of Greenwich lifestyle with a group of well traveled Hoosier rooted ladies ranging in age from 27-58. |

| Our guide was Curt Upton and he was AWESOME. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all funny & interesting. He kept everyone interested and laughing, eating and having a great time the whole time. At one restaurant we ran into another tour guide and she seemed awesome as well. Highly recommended... |

| My tour took place on a very rainy Sunday morning on Aug. 2, 2009. Our tour host, Heather, was superb, and it was obvious that she knew the area, the restaurants, the shops and a lot about Greenwich Village. Even through the rain, lightning and thunder, her smile was constant, and it was an experience that I'll always remember. I learned a lot of interesting information, and I will most definitely take another tour in the near future, this time with my husband. We live in Connecticut, so the city is not too far away - we will return soon! Thank you for such a fantastic way to spend a few hours on a rainy day in NYC! |

| It was pouring down rain and hot, so not a great day for a 3 hour walk! Our tour guide and the places that we visited made it all worthwhile. I would strongly recommend this tour if you are interested in some history of the area and like to eat. There was plenty of both food and information. On my next trip to NYC I will book another tour like this, but early in the stay so that I can go back and explore more on my own. My teenage kids would enjoy this, but I dont think that kids under the age of 11 or so would. |

| We thought that this would be a great way to discover a new area and get away from the tourist eateries around the Time Square area that we spent the majority of our last visit at.
This tour gave us some great food suggestions to return to during our extended stay in NYC. I highly recommend doing the tour at the start of your trip if at all possible, so you have plenty of time to return to the numerous places recommended by the tour. Our guide had a wonderful knowledge of the area giving us a good mix of food tastings and history
We tried a number of the different places after the tour all with equally satisfying results. A wonderful day out. Not even the rain could ruin the day. Plenty of tastings on the tour to even satisfy the fussy eater. |

| Our group consisted of myself & my 3 adult daughters visiting NYC from 4 different states. This tour was recommended to me and one of my daughters. We all loved it even though it was raining. Our guide, Marie, was very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. We especially liked " Joes's Pizza" and "Home". |
