| The Food Tasting Tour was enjoyable but a little too long. Our leader was outstanding, clear, loud enough considering the truck traffic noise on small streets, knowledgeable, genial. The tastings: pizza at Joe's, Rice Balls from the Pork Store, the soy from soy & sake restaurant, and the chocolate chip cookies were great. The fried artichoke hearts were awful.
Here are a few suggestions:
!) Either make it shorter by an hour or have more opportunities to sit while eating and hearing the lecture. We stopped and heard about so many restaurants that we did not go into and then you feel like it's just an ad for those restaurants.
2) We only sat once and it was such a relief. Not sure why we couldn't sit down in some of these places especially if they were empty.
3) We started and ended at Murray's Cheese Shop. Yet, there was no cheese tasting!? And, tour members needed to go to the restroom....Murray's had one restroom and often were not very happy about us using it. More opportunities to use the bathroom would be great.
4) My group really felt that the tour price was well worth it but would have liked it to be shorter with less standing hearing about restaurants we were not going to visit.
We did enjoy it and picked up sausage, cheese, bread and brought it home and cooked a fabulous meal. |

| We previously lived on Long Island before moving to Florida but had not spent much time in Manhattan. Our guide, Kurt, showed us what we had been missing all those years. He is a well informed young man and very savvy about the Greenwich Village area. The foods that we tasted were delicious and typical of this very distinctive cultural area. This tour is highly recommended, especially for non-New Yorkers visiting the city. |

| found the food tour reviewed on YELP and after reading the many good reviews decided to purchase the Greenwich tour as it fit our schedule. my two teenage children said it was their favorite thing that they did in the city. Cindy was our guide and she was stunning, cleaver with all members attending and very informative. Cindy had a way to connect with everyone and her pride in NY sure did show through. it was hot and the only thing i think i would have changed was the feeling that we were rushed in the vegan/vegetarian asian restaurant. it was a new addition to the tour that we found out about that day and we ordered drinks to have with our sampling and couldnt finish them. no need to eat beforehand as you will eat plenty and a wide variety of things. i loved it all. its worth the $$ as you are touring for at least three hours if not more. i wish we could have been there longer to do another. if you love food definitely do it. (not for small children) |

| Great way to entertain yourself for an afternoon in the Big Apple. Great samples of various types of food. Our guide Marie was a local and knew her way around. Lots of interesting information and at a great pace so as to see alot. Definately a filling afternoon of food and culture! |
