| The expectiions of the tour were certainly fullfilled. The food tasting of the various business's were very generous and at the same time we learned the history of the business and the neighborhood. We also received the background and history of "The Village" which included the archtecture of the various residences including detailed architectural facts that defined the history of the buildings which was of interest to us.
We met some New Yorker's and when we told them we had been to Chumley's, the question was "How did you find out about Chumley's?" The answere was of course "Our FoodTour of Greenwich Village!"
We enjoyed the tour very much and would recommend it to our friends. Bari was a delight and very informative and enthusiastic regarding her presentation of "The Village."

| My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Greenwich Village. Our tour guide, Kirk, made the tour lots of fun with his enthusiasm and his accute knowledge of all the little "secret spots". The food tastings were awesomely good and the samples were more then adequate' as most of us were busting by the end of the tour wondering if we could eat another thing!
While I had been in Greenwich Village many times before this was like seeing it for the first time.
Don't miss this tour, and definately see if Kirk can be your guide. He is as much fun as the tour with his humourous comments and quips. |

| Mother from Miami, Grown son who lives in the village took this tour on a rather cold day. Guide, has lived in Village for many years and was very knowledgeable entertaining,a d kept out interest in the bitter cold for 3 hours. Well worth the time and the cost. Believe this is an adult activity, not for young children. Should be on list of what to do when in NYC. Will definately do another area when in NYC again.

| I had a wonderful experience with the tour. The leader of the tour was very comical and knew the history in great detail. The food was delicious and a real neat added bonus to the tour. This tour was one of the highlights to my first visit to New York. I even went back and ate at one of the restaurants on the tour later in the week and it was GREAT. I would suggest this tour to anyone who wants to get the real feel of Greenwich village and learn the history while getting to eat some really delicious food. I loved the tour and would do it again in a heart beat. |
