We had the most fun day.. our tour guide was amazing. She knew every detail of the area. Our food stops were out of this world. We made 9 stops and each one was wonderful. The tastings were delicious and we had such a nice history of the area and the restaurants. On my next trip to NYC we know what restaurants we will be visiting. This was our second food tour ( 1st one was the Chelsea Meat Packing tour)and I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting the NYC area.

Loved the food and the tour was very interesting. Highlight was the Palma Restaurant! What a unique spot in the middle of Greenwich Village. Our tour guide was very informative and seemed to enjoy the tour as much as we did.

Took the Greenwich Village Food Tour on June 30th. We were a group of 4 friends celebrating 3 of our 50th birthdays and what a great 3 hours. Our guide Heather was charming, extremely informative and fun. So many interesting facts on the village and so much great food. We are still dreaming about the rice balls from Faicco's and the amazing smells at Murrays cheese shop. Heather's very informative talk on what makes NY Pizza so special and the difference between the styles will make us look at pizza in a whole new light from now on. Our only regret was that we ran out of time to go on another tour during our stay. Definately will make these tours a part of our next visit! GREAT JOB!

Good mix of food and history.

I have gone on other food tours and the only thing lacking in this one was the variety of food. I wish we explored other nearby areas of the City.

Despite it being a very hot day our Guide kept us going with good humour and interesting stories. Amazing range of quality food. Very enjoyable couple of hours.

Our group of 8 recently experienced the Greenwich Village Food & Cultural Tour. Our tour guide was Kurt & he was absolutely funny, knowledgeable, & kept us going at just the right pace. The meeting place at Murray's Cheese Shop really set the tone for the foodie treats that we were in store for. He also gave some great tips for places to try away from the usual tourist spots. Despite the hot June weather, our group was thoroughly entertained & completely feted.

Nice idea. I would have taken more of the historic description of the Village. The animator (Bret, if I recall, I went thursday June 28th 12PM) was very kind, animated and funny, was keen to answer all questions he could.

Our tour guide was Bert, and he was so much fun. I appreciated his sincere love of food and descriptions at each food stop because they were detailed without being snooty. He REALLY likes his job and is very good at it! The food provided was high quality and way more food than I would ever eat for lunch. I wish I had not eaten breakfast! Excellent value for $50. Would definitely do this again and recommend to family visiting from out of town and to locals as well!
