An excellent complement to any visit to NY

I joined up on this tour on a recommendation from a colleague and found this tour to be one of the highlights of my first trip to NY. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided information not just for the local food, but for the neighbourhood as well. The guide's enthusiasm for the tour and great humour made for a very pleasant experience. I will definitely be recommending this tour to others.

This tour was informational, wonderful fun, and filled with delicious treats. Our guide, Maria, was entertaining as well as very knowledgeable. The neigborhood we explored was lovely and completely unexpected to find in NYC. The three hours went by very quickly. Can't wait to go back and enjoy the restaurants and stores we visited again. My friends spanned in age from 30 to 67 and we all were in agreement. Don't miss this tour.

Our group of women from Baltimore enjoyed the enthusiastic tour guide who introduced us to the "ins and outs" of Greenwich Village eating and food shopping! It was a great day and the establishments we visited were charming and offered us yummy samples of food!! It was worth the time and money. We look forward to the day FoodTours offers a walking tour of Astoria!!

Decided to book after reading previous reviews. At first wasn't sure had done the right thing having stood around on just 1 street in Greenwich for over half an hour. However, we did all enjoy the tour, especially when we reached the landmark area when we received some information on the history of Greenwich, as well as the food! The chocolate chip cookies were delicious! Would recommend it for foodies and to experience a "taste" of Greenwich life.
