Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

The tour was a great introduction to the food and history of Greenwich Village. Through our cultural, historical and culinary expert guide, Bert, our group was able to taste and appreciate the variety and history of the food of Greenwich Village as well as its history as a community dating back several hundreds of years. As a lover of food and history this tour was excellent and I not only highly recommend it, but am looking forward to future tours with this company.

Really great tour with guide Heather! Lots of information and facts about life in Greenwich Village, with a scrumptious sampling of Village foods along the way (our tour featured pizza, olive oil, risotto ball, cookie, cannoli, cheese, olives, a variety of tapas, and more!). Very pleasant way to spend a day in the Village. Highly recommend!

Our tour was wonderful! The food was delicious. I would highly recommend our tour guide, Sephra, to anyone interested in this tour. Her sense of humor and knowledge turned this great tour into an excellent one!

Even though the weather was warm, we enjoyed every minute of the tour. Almost as interesting as the food was the history lessons on buildings and the area. We highly recommend this tour.

This was great!! I would suggest making this one of the first things you do when you get in town. They give you so many great places to try and coupons you can use while on your trip. I learned so much, our guide was very informative and nice. Everything was timed perfectly and they gave us time to eat, relax, digest, and eat again. You really get to see how the locals live!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Tasting Tour of Greenwich Village. Barri was a fun and knowledgeable tour leader, all the food was excellent. We returned to one of the restaurants for dinner that same day. We would definitely recommend the tour to just about anyone.

We received this tour as a gift from our oldest son at Christmas, and booked it for an extended Memorial Day Holiday. I think our guide was Kerry Anne? She is a student at NYU, and was delightful. She was informative, amusing, and helpful. The food on the tour was above our expectation! It is well paced with a sit down break about half-way through. We especially enjoyed the history and architectural conversations during the tour. This is well worth the time and expense! We are looking forward to doing more of their tours.

Despite the rain our tour guide made sure we were having a good time. He was enthusiastic about what he shared, and you could tell he was proud of his city and the good food it has to offer. Had a great time and yummy eats!
