This was a great idea for locals or tourists visiting New York. I went on the Greenwich tour and if you are a history buff and/or like eating this is an activity for you. Especially since it is unique and allows you to kill to birds with one stone. You get to explore New York with an informative tour guide who lets you know about the sights you are seeing and you are getting to taste many different restaurants you may not normally try. I recommend visitors to try this in the beginning of their trip because you may want to return. You will learn and discover alot, I know I did and I was born and raised here in New York City. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our taste of Greenich Village with our leader Michael. He made the day fun, interesting, and enjoyable. We loved all the places we went and the food we tasted. We even went back for dinner a few days later. We have told many people about the tour-so hopefully they will sign up. We also thought the summary handout at the end was super-we will keep it on file and pull it out on our next trip to NYC.

This tour was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend people doing this tour at the beginning of their trip as it provides insight into the best places to eat. Here's a tip--eat in Greenwich and NOT in Times Square. Not only is the food better, but the prices are better too!! I will likely do this tour again when I return to New York. |

Our guide, Susan, was wonderful. It was a great way to really get a feel for a neighborhood with all sorts of local information we would not have otherwise had access to from guide books. The food part was fun too and we ate VERY well. Thanks so much. |

Enjoyed the tour. A little pricey for the amount of tastings you receive. The tour guide definately was very knowledgeable about the area but seemed a little pre-occupied talking about her acting career and having long conversations with the locals. |

I did this with a friend, we had a great time! Very knowledgeable tour guide(Cindy). Enough food I didn't even need dinner. We stopped back at one place for a italian ice after the tour. Would do it again. |

We had an enjoyable afternoon and a charming guide (Cindy). We especially loved both pizzas we sampled. The cookie from Milk & Cookies and cheese from Murray's were also very good. We felt some of the samplings were extremely small - the apricot tart from Pasticceria Bruno was delicious but it was only one bite and a sample from another store consisted of 2 small chocolate-covered nuts! The only sample that our party of 4 did not like AT ALL was the middle eastern food! Instead of the middle eastern food, we definitely would have preferred another pastry shop for a cannoli or maybe ice cream or gelato. We also would have liked to have learned a little more about the history of the area. For $40, the bottled water should at least have been chilled and larger samples would really make it more worthwhile. Thank you for the list of 36 establishments in the Village - it will come in handy and we're looking forward to trying them. |

Tour taken 8/27/2006. This tour touched on history, architecture, social structure and ethnic food samplings. Not too much of any one subject but the guide was knowledgeable of it all having lived in Greenwich Village. Walking, listening and eating filled up the 3 hours easily. No time to sit down to eat or drink. Just what I expected from the tour description. We would not have gotten so much from just walking around Greenwich Village by ourselves. |
