Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

We brought our 2 teenage children and they also really enjoyed it. Very hot that day but our guide did his best to get us inside to cool down. Would definitely recommend.

This was the most fun your we have ever taken of New York! We loved the food tastings! It Is a great way to get to know the area. The sprinkling of history keep us going til the next stop. We can't wait ro come back to New York and take another food tour!

I was skeptical at first but had a very nice time on this food tour. I recommend going with friends. It was very casual as far as the culture and historical knowledge elements. And to be honest if you were tired of listening you could take a minute aside and just talk amongst your friends. Most of the time the information given was interesting though and I was thoroughly entertained. The food was obviously the best part and i returned to one of the restaurants we visited later that day for more. Good times.

This was our first trip to NYC and this tour came highly recommended from a friend. Now that our trip is over, this was easily in our Top 3 favorite events from our 6-day stay in NYC. Whether you are a tourist or long-time NY dweller, this tour is fascinating and delicious! And quite a deal - $50 for 3 hrs of eating/touring. And we LOVED our tour-guide, Kerianne - so knowledgeable, friendly, and kept us wanting more, even in the 90+ heat. We will definitely sign up for another tour next time we are in town. My husband has his eye on Chinatown. :)

It was a hot day but we still enjoyed all the food tastings and the excellent information provided by our tour guide, Bert. We have only positive comments - good food selection, useful information about other interesting places in the neighborhood, architecture and history and generally just a fun experience. We went back to a couple of places to buy products and returned for a drink at another place we toured. Highly recommend Bert - enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable of the neighborhood and the food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Tasting Tour of Greenwich Village. Barri was a fun and knowledgeable tour leader, all the food was excellent. We returned to one of the restaurants for dinner that same day. We would definitely recommend the tour to just about anyone.

This was a really neat way to learn interesting historical facts about the area. Trying out the local cuisine was fun and the food was great! Might suggest starting with something more breakfast-like for the first 11:15 AM tasting other than pizza - especially since it ended with pizza as well. Highly recommend this tour! Our Guide, Curt, provided us with an afternoon of fun, laughs,history (was it all true??) and plenty of good eats. The restaurants and shops chosen as part of this tour were perfect. So great to nosh through an old historic part of the Village. We would heartily recommend this tour.

My mom and sisters and I did this food tour and it was the highlight of our New York visit! The food was delicious, the guide was very knowledgeable, and the places we visited covered everything from education about olive oil to simply enjoying the best cannoli I have ever eaten. A great way to experience the food and culture of Greenwich Village!
